Days Of Our Lives
DAYS WILD SPECULATION! Stephanie Johnson Is Walking Brady Black Into a Bullet at the Shooting Range and It’s Going to Be DEADLY!
Sarah Horton warned Brady Black about the shooting range. Then Stephanie Johnson showed up there with a loaded gun. Brady is the target.

STEPHANIE JOHNSON IS CRACKING AND BRADY BLACK WILL CATCH THE BULLET
TL;DR: On DAYS, Sarah Horton just told Brady Black she is worried about him going to the shooting range. Then Stephanie Johnson showed up at the same range, fell apart over Alex Kiriakis’s baby with Joy Wesley, and asked Brady to practice with her. Salem is setting up an accidental shooting. Brady is the target. And every marriage in the room is headed straight off a cliff once it happens.
Sarah Horton’s Bad Feeling Has a Name
On Days of Our Lives, Sarah Horton talked to Brady Black and told him she was worried about his safety. Specifically, she was worried about him going to the shooting range. Sarah is a doctor. She is not a woman who voices baseless fears, and the writers on this show do not introduce a “be careful at the shooting range” beat unless they intend to pay it off. Brady kissed her forehead and went anyway.
That is the first domino.
The second is Stephanie Johnson, Steve and Kayla’s daughter, who has been spending more time on the shooting range lately than the entire Salem PD. Steve Johnson walked her through gun safety. She has been practicing. She has been thinking about it. But she hasn’t followed the roles. And on the day Sarah confessed her fear, Stephanie shows up at the same range as Brady.

The Confession That Tells Us Stephanie Is the Shooter
The minute Brady and Stephanie are alone at the range, Stephanie cracks. She tells Brady how upset she is about Alex Kiriakis‘s baby. She tells him she cannot imagine being a stepmother to the daughter Joy Wesley brought back from out of state. She tells him things she has not been telling Alex. She tells him things she probably has not even told Kayla Johnson. And she does all of this while holding a loaded weapon she has been practicing with for weeks.
This is not a coincidence. This is screenwriting. Stephanie Johnson is breaking down emotionally on the same field where she has been training herself to use a gun, in the presence of a man Sarah has already been told to fear for. The writers are pointing at this with both hands.
She is not aiming for anybody. She is venting. She is processing. She is doing the exact thing every gun safety instructor in the country warns against, which is handling a loaded weapon while emotionally elevated, and Brady is standing right next to her without a clue.
Why Brady Is the One Who Catches the Bullet
Fans have been theorizing for weeks about who Stephanie was being set up to shoot. The leading guesses were Joy Wesley, Jeremy Horton, and Alex. None of them work anymore.
Then there’s Brady. Sarah is worried. Brady is at the range. Brady is the man asking Stephanie if she is okay while she holds a weapon she does not yet know how to handle. Stephanie Johnson is going to flinch. The gun is going to go off. Brady is going to drop.
It will be an accident. Stephanie will not have meant it. But Brady will be on the floor and the whole canvas will rearrange around it.
The Fallout That Wrecks Three Marriages
This is where it goes nuclear. Brady is on the floor. Sarah’s worst fear is confirmed. Stephanie is hysterical. Alex finds out his wife shot Sarah’s boyfriend, and whatever fragile thing he was holding onto in their marriage explodes into the kind of public scandal Salem does not let anyone live down quietly. Sarah blames Stephanie. Steve and Kayla blame themselves. And Brady Black, if he survives the bullet, blames absolutely nobody, because Brady is the kind of man who would rather forgive the woman who shot him than make her cry.
The real damage is not the bullet. The real damage is what comes after. Stephanie Johnson cannot stay married to Alex through this. Sarah cannot pretend the thing she warned about did not happen. Steve cannot watch his only daughter face a manslaughter charge and keep his composure.
The Brady-Black-Johnson family has weathered a lot. Brady has been shot before. Sarah has buried losses. Stephanie has watched her parents survive worse. But none of those previous traumas involved one of their own pointing the gun, and Salem is not equipped to forgive that kind of accident quickly.
Whose marriage falls apart first when the smoke clears, and is Brady ever going to forgive Stephanie? Sound off below because this comment section is going to need to talk!
