PETER IS USING EMMA TO PUSH ANNA DEVANE TOWARD MURDER

Anna Devane isn’t fighting a memory anymore. General Hospital showed us exactly how close she is to becoming the exact kind of hunter she swore she’d never be.

The Voice That Won’t Let Her Rest

Peter cornered Anna Devane again, and this time he didn’t stop at torment, he handed her a mission. He told her that Britt Westbourne would use Emma to get close, and that Anna was the only one who could stop it. Anna didn’t argue back. She agreed with him, quietly and completely.

That single beat should worry every General Hospital fan watching this play out. Peter isn’t inventing Anna’s fear out of nothing. He’s aiming an old wound straight at the one person she loves without hesitation, and letting grief finish the rest of the job for him, one whispered suggestion at a time.

Why Britt, Specifically

Britt isn’t a random target, and the show has spent years making sure fans know exactly why. She’s Faison’s daughter, which makes her the one living, breathing piece of him that Anna can actually reach and actually touch. Every other person who tortured Anna is dead, locked away, or a hallucination standing barely out of arm’s length.

Anna Devane has spent decades burying Faison over and over, in prison cells and body bags and locked vaults, and somehow he always claws his way back into her life anyway. Peter knows precisely what he’s doing by pointing her at Britt instead of anyone else on this canvas. He isn’t asking Anna to fight a stranger, he’s asking her to finally finish a war that never actually ended, using a woman who never chose her own bloodline as the battlefield for it.

The Family Anna Hasn’t Finished With

Here’s where this gets bigger than one confrontation in a hospital hallway. Faison didn’t stop at one child, and the show has already confirmed it. Cassius exists too, twin to the man half of Port Charles still calls “Nathan,” and he shares every drop of blood Britt does, whether he wants to or not.

If Anna’s current logic holds, Britt was never going to be the finish line here. A woman convinced she’s protecting her family from an entire bloodline doesn’t stop after pruning one branch off the tree. She keeps pulling until the roots are gone, and Cassius is standing right there, closer than he probably realizes, waiting his turn.

Who’s Actually Watching Her Right Now

Jason has his own reasons to step in before this goes anywhere he can’t undo. He told Britt he loves her, out loud, for the first time since he came home, and he’s spent his entire life reading a room for the exact moment right before it turns violent. If anyone on this canvas clocks Anna circling, it’s him, and he won’t hesitate once he does.

Then there’s Valentin, who spent an entire conversation defending Anna to Carly, warning her against making deals that drag her back into old, dangerous WSB patterns she’s already promised her family she’s done with. He loves her enough to actually see the warning signs everyone else keeps missing entirely, if he finally lets himself look directly at what’s standing right in front of him.

Who do you think steps in first, Jason or Valentin? Head to the comments and place your bets.

One of Them Has to See It Before It’s Too Late

Anna Devane came home from captivity looking like the version of herself everyone remembered, and she’s quietly, dangerously becoming someone else entirely in front of the people who love her most.
