The brutal attack happened right in Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) home after Ric told both women that their “blackmail game is officially over.” He’d locked and emptied all of Ava’s accounts — including her secret stash — and tied up their pilfered fortune in treasure bonds that would soon be his.
