BLYTHE HOWARD JOINS GH WITH A MYSTERY CLIENT LIST

TL;DR: According to TVInsider, General Hospital is welcoming Blythe Howard to the canvas as Monet, a new attorney at Miller & Davis whose very first client comes with more baggage than expected. Executive Producer Frank Valentini is already teasing that Monet is hiding an “unexpected connection” to someone already living in Port Charles.

Miller & Davis Gets a New Name on the Door

Diane Millerย andย Alexis Davisย have spent monthsย running their firm asย the legal fix forย half of Port Charles,ย fromย Brook Lynn’sย guardrail mess toย Michaelย andย Willow’sย custodyย fight. Now they’reย getting company.ย Blythe Howardย steps intoย General Hospitalย this Wednesday,ย September 23, asย Monet, a sharpย litigator joining theย roster at Miller &ย Davis.

Monet’s first order of business is a Port Charles client who needs her help, though the show hasn’t revealed who that client is or what kind of trouble they’re in. Given how often Miller & Davis clients end up tangled in the messiest storylines on the canvas, that detail alone is enough to make longtime viewers sit up.

Who Is Blythe Howard?

Acting wasn’t the original plan for Howard. She’d set her sights on broadcast journalism and was enrolled at Washington State University when a nationwide contest changed her trajectory, landing her a day hosting programming for MTV. That taste of being on camera pulled her toward acting instead, sending her to San Francisco to train before she landed in Los Angeles, where the bookings followed quickly.

Her resume since has stayed varied, spanning a sprawling ranch drama, crime procedurals, and a season playing a fictional broadcaster for director David Fincher, a role that circled her back toward the career path she’d once planned.

Howard’s toughest storyline has played out off screen. A cancer diagnosis in 2022 didn’t slow her audition schedule, and once treatment wrapped, she and her sister built a business making products to ease chemo side effects, including a specialty cap meant to help protect hair during treatment.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini has made clear that Monet isn’t just a new face behind a desk, describing her as carrying an “unexpected connection” to someone already established in town, the kind of detail that usually signals a reveal is coming, not a one-episode guest spot.
