BRITT WESTBOURNE NEVER HAD HUNTINGTON’S

TL;DR: Britt Westbourne has spent months believing she inherited Huntington’s from Cesar Faison and that Cullum’s experimental drug is the only thing keeping her alive on General Hospital. The unhinged theory: the diagnosis is a lie. She does not have Huntington’s. Cullum and Sidwell fabricated her father’s disease to chain her medical expertise to their project. Britt drives out of Port Charles with zero meds and is about to figure out she has been a healthy woman the entire time.

The Diagnosis That Built the Cage

Britt Westbourne is the daughter of Cesar Faison. That is canon. That is also the most useful information a man like Cullum has ever been handed. He looked at the Faison family tree, saw Huntington’s sitting there like a loaded gun, and figured out how to point it at Britt and pull the trigger without ever firing a shot.

He told her she had her father’s disease. He showed her the test results. He showed her the medical literature. He gave her the experimental “remission drug” that Jason has already told the audience does not exist on any market. Britt looked at the evidence, looked at her father, and believed every word.

She would have. Why wouldn’t she. The genetic possibility was real. The dread was real. The fear of becoming her father was real. Cullum did not have to fabricate a single emotion. He only had to fabricate one diagnosis.

The price for the experimental drug was working on Cullum and Sidwell’s project, on a clock, with a bomb on her ankle. Britt agreed. Of course she did. She was a doctor staring down a dying daughter’s nightmare and the only man on earth offering her the cure. The leash was perfect.

The Road Trip That Breaks the Theory Open

Britt got in her car with Rocco tonight, smashed her phone in the parking lot, and peeled out of Port Charles. Zero meds. Zero communication with Cullum. She is bracing for the moment her body starts giving out.

Days pass. Britt is not getting sick.

She is not feeling worse. She is not losing motor function. She is not slurring. She is not exhibiting any of the early-onset symptoms her doctors warned her to watch for. She is, in every observable way, a healthy woman driving cross-country with her son.

Then Britt Westbourne does what only Britt Westbourne would do. She finds a roadside clinic. She runs her own bloodwork. She tests for the Huntington’s genetic markers herself. She compares the results to the test results Cullum showed her months ago.

The markers Cullum gave her are not in her actual blood. They never were.

Britt Was Never Sick

The unhinged theory lands here. Cullum needed a doctor with Britt’s specific expertise on his project. Bribery was off the table. Threats were off the table. He needed long-term cooperation on a timeline that demanded something stronger than money or fear. So he gave her a death sentence and the only key to the cage.

The “experimental drug” was sugar pills with a sedative for good measure. The “remission” was the natural state of a healthy woman who was being told she was dying. The diagnostic tests were doctored. The follow-up scans were faked. The entire medical apparatus around Britt has been a stage play with Cullum as the writer, director, and producer.

Sidwell knew. Pascal knew. The compounding pharmacist Cullum used to fake the prescription paperwork knew. Britt was the only person in the room who did not know she was healthy.

Britt Comes Home to Burn It Down

The woman who drives back into Port Charles is not the dying mother Rocco signed up to mourn. She is a healthy WSB-trained doctor with falsified medical records in her bag, a clean genetic panel on her phone, and the kind of cold rage that only Liesl Obrecht’s daughter is capable of when she figures out a man has been telling her she was going to die for sport.

Britt Westbourne walks into the WSB office on General Hospital with the bloodwork, the pill samples, the falsified diagnostic reports, and the names. She puts Cullum on a federal indictment for medical fraud, unlawful experimentation, kidnapping, and a half-dozen other charges any prosecutor in the state would be thrilled to file. She lets Sonny know the man who killed Henry Dalton built his entire Pozzulo’s empire on a fabricated Huntington’s diagnosis. And she walks Rocco into Sonny’s office and tells him his mother is going to live.

Cullum thought he was watching a dying woman drive out of town to spare her son the worst of her decline. Cullum was watching a healthy doctor drive out of town long enough to figure out she had been played. The woman who turns around at the city limits is going to make sure he never breathes free air again.
