BRITT WESTBOURNE IS SCARED AND THIS WEEK EXPLAINS WHY

TL;DR: Britt Westbourne gets thrown for a loop on Tuesday, fears for a loved one’s safety on Wednesday, and is looking for reassurance by Friday on General Hospital. That three day spiral says everything. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri pays a visit to Cullum, Curtis Ashford confronts Isaiah, Ethan Lovett catches up with Kristina and reunites with Tracy Quartermaine, Willow Tait uses her influence, Valentin Cassadine issues a warning, and Gio Palmieri and Emma Scorpio-Drake are headed to Broadway’s Aladdin.

This Week in Port Charles

Britt Westbourne has been walking a tightrope between Sidwell, Cullum, and her own survival for weeks. This week, that tightrope snaps. She will be thrown for a loop on Tuesday, fear for a loved one’s safety on Wednesday, and by Friday she will be looking for reassurance, which is a word Britt Westbourne does not use unless something has gone very wrong. Her medication is being held hostage. Her brother is playing double agent. Jason is at a WSB black site. And whoever she is afraid for on Wednesday, the fear carries all the way to Friday.

But Tuesday also delivers one of the most loaded scenes of the week: Dante Falconeri will pay a visit to Ross Cullum. A police commissioner sitting at the bedside of the man who has been running a criminal operation from inside the WSB. Cullum does not know that Josslyn has been building a case. He does not know that Valentin has connected him to Faison’s network. And now the head of the PCPD is in his hospital room. That conversation could go a dozen different directions and none of them are safe for anyone.

Britt Westbourne is spiraling from Tuesday to Friday and Dante is paying Cullum a visit. Got theories about who Britt is afraid for? Send your wildest takes to [email protected] and we just might publish them!

Monday, April 20

Ethan Lovett and Kristina Corinthos-Davis will catch up, and after Ethan showed up at Sonny’s door last week grinning at her like she was exactly who he came to see, this conversation is going to have layers. Sonny Corinthos will get an unexpected visitor, and in Sonny’s world, unexpected visitors are rarely good news. Michael Corinthos will get new intel, and given that he just told Kristina he is looking for evidence that Willow shot Drew, new intel in Michael’s hands is dangerous. Willow Tait is determined, and after she called Jacinda a hooker and threatened to cut off Michael’s access to the kids, determined Willow is terrifying Willow. And Carly Spencer will be startled, and given everything happening under her roof, the list of things that could startle Carly right now is very long.

Tuesday, April 21

Sonny will take a risk, and Sonny Corinthos taking risks in the middle of a murder investigation is either brilliant or catastrophic. Curtis Ashford will confront Isaiah Gannon, and after Isaiah was out on the road the same night Curtis and Jordan’s car exploded and came home to the cabin making excuses to Portia, that confrontation has weight. Ric Lansingwill be skeptical, and Ric skeptical usually means someone is lying and he knows it. Britt Westbourne will be thrown for a loop, and that is where her week starts to unravel. And Dante will pay his visit to Cullum, which could be the most consequential conversation in Port Charles this week.

Wednesday, April 22

Jordan Ashford will confide in Curtis, and after her surgery and recovery from the accident, whatever she needs to tell him she has been holding onto. Josslyn Jacks will look for answers, and after she watched “Nathan” walk out of Cullum’s hospital room last week, Joss with questions is Joss on a mission. Gio Palmieri will have a surprise for Emma Scorpio-Drake, and after everything these two have been through, a surprise from Gio sounds like exactly what they need. Britt will fear for a loved one’s safety, and that loved one is either Jason, Lucas, or her brother, and all three of them are in danger right now. And Lulu Spencer will voice her concern, and Lulu concerned could involve Rocco’s secret, Ethan’s mysterious return, or “Nathan.”

Thursday, April 23

Tracy Quartermaine will reunite with Ethan Lovett, and Tracy meeting Luke Spencer’s son at the Quartermaine mansion is going to be loaded with history, affection, and absolutely no sentimentality because Tracy does not do sentimentality. Gio and Emma will go exploring, and these two continue to be the heart of Port Charles right now. Elizabeth Baldwinwill visit Drew Cain, and Drew’s condition after being shot twice has been quietly devastating. Willow Tait will use her influence, and a Congresswoman wielding political power in a custody war is a weapon nobody should be comfortable with. And Ric will seek Alexis Davis‘s opinion, and those two in a room together discussing legal strategy is always worth watching.

Friday, April 24

Felicia Scorpio will get disturbing news, and when Felicia is disturbed, something has gone wrong at a level that touches her family. Britt Westbourne will want reassurance, and after being thrown for a loop Tuesday and fearing for a loved one Wednesday, the fact that she still needs comfort by Friday means whatever happened this week has not resolved. Valentin Cassadine will issue a warning, and Valentin’s warnings carry the weight of a man who has been hiding in an attic while building a counteroffensive against the WSB. Cassius will be offended, and offending a man who is impersonating a dead person while running his boss’s criminal operation is a very specific kind of dangerous. And Gio and Emma will go backstage at Broadway’s Aladdin, which is the sweetest ending to a week in Port Charles that absolutely nobody else is having a sweet time in.

Britt is scared, Dante visited Cullum, and Gio is taking Emma to Broadway. Who do you think Britt is afraid for? And does Dante know what he is sitting across from in that hospital room? Sound off below!
