This Week in Port Charles

Brook Lynn Quartermaine is walking around Port Charles on borrowed time. Her car is under a tarp at the boathouse. Tracy Quartermaine is the only reason it is not in a police impound yard yet. And Curtis Ashford is about to eye a brand new suspect in the crash that left his wife clinging to a hospital bed. Brook Lynn Quartermaine is not ready for what that lineup is about to look like. Meanwhile Britt Westbourne is carrying a secret so large it is warping her entire week, and by Thursday she cannot hold it anymore. Michael Corinthos is about to unveil the plan he has been quietly building against Willow Tait. And Lucas Jones is about to sit Carly Spencer down for a conversation she is not going to be able to lawyer her way out of. Port Charles does not do quiet weeks.

Monday, April 27

Elizabeth Baldwin will come into information about Jason Morgan that is going to make her very hard to ignore, and given that the WSB whisked him off to parts unknown, that intel is going to land like a thunderclap. Valentin Cassadinewill make a confession he has been sitting on for longer than is safe. Ethan Lovett will make Sonny Corinthos an offer that puts Luke Spencer’s kid right in the middle of Port Charles’s ugliest mess. Josslyn Jacks will question Dante Falconeri, which, given what Joss already suspects about “Nathan,” is a conversation that has the potential to fracturethe whole lie wide open. And Jenz Sidwell will get suspicious, which is always the moment the casualty count starts ticking up.

Tuesday, April 28

Tracy Quartermaine will issue a warning. Given the car under the tarp and the granddaughter she has just made complicit in a hit and run cover up, whoever Tracy is warning should pour themselves a strong drink first. Curtis Ashford will eye a new suspect in Jordan’s crash, which is the first real sign that the net is closing around Brook Lynn Quartermaine. Lucas Jones will receive a touching offer that reminds viewers this is the Lucas who takes care of everyone, even as he is being pulled in five directions. Michael Corinthos will meet with Willow Tait in what will absolutely not be a polite little custody chat. And Jordan Ashford will open up to Justine Turner about the accident, the injuries, and everything she has been choking back since she woke up.

Wednesday, April 29

Lulu Spencer will be outraged, and given this week’s roster of men lying to her and sons hiding things from her, there is a menu of reasons to pick from. Michael Corinthos will unveil his plan against Willow in full, and Willow is going to wish she had stayed on the couch. Elizabeth Baldwin will put Willow Tait on the spot in a way that will be impossible to dodge. Josslyn Jacks will come into tantalizing information that is going to take her one step closer to blowing the Cassius Faison impersonation wide open. And Curtis will open up to Laura Collins about whatever he is starting to piece together about the crash, which means Mayor Collins is about to be pulled even deeper into the investigation that is already closing in on Brook Lynn Quartermaine.

Thursday, April 30

Lucas Jones will confront Carly Spencer about something she has been tiptoeing around for weeks, and nobody is going to like how that one goes. Jack Brennan will be alarmed, which on this show means the stakes have quietly tripled. Britt Westbourne will spill a secret she has been holding so tightly it has been cracking her teeth, and whoever catches that confession is about to have their life rearranged. Ethan Lovett will get suspicious, which in a Cassadine town is rarely a bad instinct. And Lucy Coe will try to provoke Ava Jerome, because Lucy has no survival instinct and Ava has no patience.

Friday, May 1

Sonny Corinthos will seek out Britt, which means whatever she spilled on Thursday landed somewhere that sent Sonny moving. Carly Spencer’s luck may have officially run out, and given how many flaming plates she has been spinning between Valentin in the attic and Lucas asking questions, that checkbook was always going to catch up to her. Jordan Ashford will have her spirits lifted by a surprise visitor. Brook Lynn Quartermaine will be agitated, which is soap speak for about to crack. And Cody Bell will deliver news to Molly Lansing Davis that puts a rare soft ending on a week that does not otherwise offer them.
