Meanwhile, over at the Deception offices, Tracy Quartermaine was in rare form, grilling Brook Lynn with the tenacity of a seasoned prosecutor. Tracy’s radar is on high alert with Lois Cerullo’s conspicuous absence from both the Q mansion and company meetings.

When Brook Lynn let slip that her mother had high-tailed it back to Bensonhurst, Tracy smelled blood in the water. Why would Lois suddenly abandon ship without so much as a goodbye? Brook Lynn was desperately trying to keep her emotions in check – the last thing she needs is for Granny Q to discover that mother and daughter have been at war over Brook Lynn’s high school pregnancy!

As if we didn’t have enough drama, Ava Jerome is still scrounging for cash like she’s searching for the last crumb at a bakery sale. This time, she’s set her sights on nephew Lucas Jones, trying to get her manicured hands on what must be Julian Jerome’s blood money.

Lucas, showing more backbone than I’ve seen in ages, flat-out refused to touch whatever funds Ava’s after. Is it Julian’s trust fund? Some hidden Jerome family treasure?
