CARLY SPENCER STONEWALLS ROSS CULLUM AND DOES NOT FLINCH ONCE

TL;DR: On Friday’s General Hospital, Carly Spencer stonewalls Ross Cullum, Valentin Cassadine strategizes, “Nathan” confides in a surprising someone, Elizabeth Baldwin opens up to Dante Falconeri, and Ric Lansing and Alexis Davis come together for Molly Lansing-Davis.

Carly Spencer Shuts Ross Cullum Down

Ross Cullum thought he could intimidate Carly Spencer. He thought wrong.

Carly stonewalls him with the kind of icy composure that has made her one of Port Charles’s most formidable operators for decades. Cullum has been pushing the wrong women all over town, leaning on his connections and his reputation, and Carly Spencer is the LAST person who is going to flinch. Whatever he came to her for, however he came at her, Carly looks him dead in the eye and gives him exactly nothing.

This is the scene where we are reminded why Carly Spencer has survived every Port Charles storm. The woman has been at war with men like Cullum her entire life, and she has a PhD in not breaking under pressure. Laura Wright is going to deliver every line with the kind of measured ice that has fans rewinding the scene multiple times just to watch the look on her face.

Cullum is going to walk out of the conversation knowing he picked the wrong target. Carly Spencer does not negotiate, does not flinch, and does not give up information she has decided to protect. General Hospital has been giving Cullum the run of the town for weeks, and Friday is the day somebody finally puts the brakes on him without saying a single threatening word.

The stonewall is the threat. And Carly is the WALL.

Valentin Cassadine Plots His Next Move

Valentin Cassadine does not act without a plan.

After reaching out to Nina Reeves earlier this week, Valentin spends Friday strategizing his next move, and a Valentin Cassadine in strategy mode is one of the most dangerous men Port Charles has on the board. Whatever the next chapter of his plan looks like, he is going to lay every piece in place before he makes a single move publicly.

James Patrick Stuart playing Valentin in plotting mode is a master class in restraint. We are going to be glued.

“Nathan” Confides In A Surprising Someone

Cassius has been wearing Nathan West’s face and lying to Lulu Spencer for weeks, and Friday he picks somebody unexpected to LET IN.

The choice of confidant is going to tell us everything about what Cassius is actually playing for. Whoever he leans on, whoever he risks trusting with the truth, that person is about to be pulled into a charade that has nothing to do with them. Cassius does not confide casually, and the conversation Friday is going to shift the entire dynamic of this storyline.

We need to know who. We need to know how. We need to know WHY.

Elizabeth Baldwin Opens Up To Dante Falconeri

Elizabeth Baldwin has been holding it in for too long.

After putting pieces together earlier this week, Liz sits down with Dante Falconeri and finally tells him what she has been seeing. The conversation is going to be loaded with everything Liz has been quietly carrying, and Dante is going to listen with the kind of focus only he gives someone he respects. Whatever Liz tells Dante, the two of them together are going to be a problem for the people she has been quietly investigating.

This is the scene that turns a quiet investigation into an active one.

Ric Lansing And Alexis Davis Come Together For Molly Lansing-Davis

Ric Lansing and Alexis Davis have HISTORY, and Friday they set every bit of it aside.

Their daughter Molly Lansing-Davis needs both of her parents in the same room, and Ric and Alexis show up. The co-parenting scene is going to remind us that whatever Ric has been up to with Sonny and Alexis, his love for his daughter has never been in question. Same for Alexis. When Molly needs them, the past goes in a drawer.

This is the kind of scene that grounds an episode.

Carly stonewalled Cullum and gave him nothing. Did she pick the right strategy, or was she just buying time? Drop it below.
