Valentin Cassadine Is Ready to Risk Steinmauer

The man pumping the brakes on Carly‘s rescue plan is Valentin Cassadine — a wanted fugitive who has been hiding out and falling hard for her at the same time. Valentin keeps urging caution, but caution isn’t in Carly‘s vocabulary when Josslyn‘s life is on the line. On June 15, Carly wants to bring in Sonny Corinthos for muscle. Valentin hates that idea. He doesn’t want Carly leaning on Sonny — he wants to be the one who saves the day, even if it costs him everything. And by June 16, spoilers confirm Valentin accepts his fate.

What is that fate, exactly? Valentin finally agrees that contacting the shadowy figure known only as “Z” is the single path forward — the move WSB man Jack Brennan insisted on all along. The catch is brutal: reaching out to “Z” could land Valentin right back in Steinmauer, the European prison he barely escaped. He’s willing to do it anyway, because he promised Carly Spencer he would bring Josslyn home. If that isn’t a man in love, we don’t know what is. What Happens to Carly Spencer on GH This Week?

Whether his panic ties back to Carly Spencer‘s reckless Wyndemere play or something else entirely, the timing feels deliberate.
