While fans argue over the body count, Josslyn Jacks is busy rewriting history. Spoilers say she has agreed to pin the entire cold fusion project on Cassius Faison and brand him as Jenz Sidwell‘s willing partner in crime. In the same breath, she plans to recast the late Ross Cullum as a fallen hero who died trying to stop it all. It is a tidy little lie built to spare the WSB a scandal it cannot survive.

But Josslyn is not doing this out of the goodness of her heart. In exchange for burying the truth, Z agreed to set Jason Morgan and Valentin Cassadine free. So our girl traded a supposedly dead man’s reputation for two rescues, and that is exactly where the moral rot sets in. Cassius spent months clawing his way toward something like decency, and Josslyn just torched it to close a deal.

Here is what makes this so deliciously ugly. If Cassius Faison is alive and healing in whatever hole Z dropped him into, he is going to hear every word of that smear campaign eventually. Don’t be surprised if he resurfaces with a target on Josslyn’s name. And spare a thought for Britt Westbourne, his own sister, who could be grieving a brother who is not actually gone while the whole town drags his name through the mud.

Something tells me the writers left this door wide open on purpose. A criminal with a conscience, a cryptic actor, and a death only a proven liar can confirm. That is not an ending, that is a cliffhanger. My money says Cassius Faison walks back into Port Charles the moment we least expect it, and Josslyn had better be ready when he does.
