GH FAN THEORY! Cassius Faison’s Bullet Scar Proves He’s Really Nathan West?!
General Hospital fan theory: could Cassius Faison’s bullet scar and his devotion to James prove he is really Nathan West all along?
BROOKE GREENWALD AND BERNICE THINK CASSIUS FAISON IS SECRETLY NATHAN WEST
TL;DR: Readers Brooke Greenwald and Bernice wrote in with the same chilling catch about General Hospital, days apart and completely independent of each other. Could Cassius Faison actually be Nathan West wearing his dead twin’s identity like a disguise, right down to a bullet scar sitting in the exact place Faison shot the real Nathan years ago? Two sets of eyes caught it. We are shaking.
The Scar Is the Receipt
Bernice emailed us floored after catching a glimpse of shirtless Cassius Faison, describing a bullet hole scar on his chest she was not expecting to see. She wondered out loud whether that scar was proof he really is Nathan, or something staged purely to sell the Cassius Faison cover story to the people around him. It is a fair question, and it is the kind of detail this show does not hand out by accident.
Brooke Greenwald wrote in independently with the receipts to back it up, and according to our friends over at Soaps Blog, this exact ambiguity has fans of the show buzzing all over social media this week. She pointed to a moment swimming with James where Cassius came up for air for barely a second, long enough for the scar to flash.
She connected that scar to the exact spot where Cesar Faison shot the real Nathan all those years ago, the injury that supposedly took seven years of his life from his wife and child. Same scar. Same place. Two different readers, two different weeks, one identical catch.
That is not a coincidence a soap accidentally leaves lying around. That is a plant.

The Way He Treats James Is Not an Act
Here is where Brooke Greenwald‘s theory gets its teeth. Cassius Faison had every reason to vanish clean. He shed Sidwell, torched his SIM card, grabbed a fake passport under the name Oliver Brown, and had a getaway car stocked and ready. A hired impostor walks away and does not look back.
Cassius did not walk away clean. He went straight to the batting cages to say goodbye to James in person, promising the boy that anyone who ever tells him his father does not love him is lying, and that he loves him and always will. Then, in the middle of fleeing town with cash and a new identity, he tossed his own wallet out the car window and kept only the photo-booth pictures of himself and James.
A hired impostor grooming a child as cover does not risk everything to say a real goodbye and keep the photos over the cash. A father does.
Then there is Britt. Cesar Faison’s two children, Britt Westbourne and the real Nathan West, share the same blood, and Cassius Faison has spent this entire arc protecting her without being asked. Even shot and bleeding out on the docks, his first thought was Britt getting away safely, not himself. That is not the loyalty of a stranger playing a part. That is a brother looking out for his sister, whichever name he is currently answering to.
Don’t forget the getaway car either, plates from Ontario, Canada, tucked under a tarp and ready before anyone suspected a thing. A hired impostor with a burner identity does not usually plan that far ahead unless he has done this exact vanishing act before. Felicia already told Anna she was right about him not being the real Nathan, but between the scar, the goodbye, and Britt, we are no longer sure Anna had the full picture either.
Which detail sold you: the scar, or the goodbye at the batting cages? Sound off in the comments!

So tired of the is he – isn’t he situation with Nathan West/Cassius. Time for writers to resolve the situation
one way or another. The story line is getting very old in my opinion.
