THE 2026 DAYTIME EMMYS PRESENTERS LINEUP IS HERE

TL;DR: The presenters for the 2026 Daytime Emmys are in, with current soap stars, daytime legends, and one very proud husband on the list, first revealed by TV Insider. The ceremony streams live on Friday, October 30.

The Defending Champs Come Back With Envelopes

Last year, they were the ones walking up to collect the trophies. Now Paul Telfer, who plays Xander Kiriakis on DAYS and won Lead Actor, and Susan Walters, who plays Diane Jenkins on Y&R and took Supporting Actress, are heading back as presenters for the 2026 Daytime Emmys. Handing over the shiny thing is the politest way to remind everyone you already own one.

They will not be alone. Katelyn MacMullen brings Willow Tait over from GH, Delon de Metz arrives from B&B as Zende Forrester, and Tamara Tunie represents BTG as Anita Williams Dupree. Every soap on our beat has a seat at the table, so nobody has to sulk in the car on the way home.

The big night lands on Friday, October 30, at Los Angeles’s Hollywood Palladium, with a live stream for anyone watching from the couch.

Daytime Legends Pull Up A Chair

The soaps we grew up on are well represented, too. Crystal Chappell brings two heavyweight roles with her, Olivia Spencer and Carly Manning. Lesli Kay is on the list and once played Molly Conlon, and Joe Lando will have One Life to Live fans thinking of Jake Harrison (and Dr. Quinn fans thinking of something else entirely).

The rest of the roll call is a time machine: Eva LaRue as Maria Santos, Juliet Mills as Tabitha Lenox, A Martinez as Cruz Castillo, and Alicia Leigh Willis, who wore both Alli Fowler and Courtney Matthews. If your soap memories live in the 1980s and 1990s, the 2026 Daytime Emmys were built for you.

A Husband, A Legend, And The Sweetest Job Of The Night

Here is the part that gets the tissues out. Genie Francis is taking home the Lifetime Achievement honor, and her husband, Jonathan Frakes, is the one handing it over. Next year marks half a century since she first arrived on GH as Laura Vining, so a hand-delivered trophy from the man who has stood beside her through the last 38 years of marriage feels earned.

Their love story is pure daytime. They fell for each other on the set of a 1982 series called Bare Essence, crossed paths again on the 1985 miniseries North and South, and married on May 28, 1988. Not a bad return on a day job.

Tell us in the comments on our website which presenter you are most excited to see.

Red Carpet Nights And Everyone Else On The List

Expect plenty of non-soap sparkle, too. Derek Hough, Sunny Hostin, Keke Palmer, and Star Jones are among the talk and lifestyle names taking the stage, so the Daytime Emmys crowd is going to be gloriously mixed.

Starting Monday, October 26, the show Extra will spend five nights counting down to the ceremony. Mona Kosar Abdiwill host the red carpet pre-show stream on YouTube, which means you can critique every gown from your sofa.

October 30 cannot come fast enough, and we are already planning our snacks. Between the defending champs, the legends, and one very proud husband, this Daytime Emmys lineup has more heart than most plotlines.

Head over to our Facebook page and tell us which presenter you are most excited to see walk out with an envelope.
