Drew Cain Just Tried To MURDER Ned Quartermaine & He’s Going To FRAME Michael Corinthos For It—General Hospital Is About To Get DARK!
Drew Cain walked away while Ned Quartermaine had a heart attack and may frame Michael Corinthos for murder on General Hospital.
DREW CAIN WALKED AWAY WHILE NED QUARTERMAINE WAS HAVING A HEART ATTACK & WE THINK HE DID IT ON PURPOSE!
TL;DR: General Hospital spoilers suggest Drew Cain may have just attempted murder! Drew stole the Quartermaine family heirlooms, Ned Quartermaine confronted him and had a heart attack, and Drew LAUGHED and walked away! Now Drew could frame Michael Corinthos for Ned’s potential death!
Drew Cain Stole The Quartermaine Family Heirlooms Out Of PURE SPITE & Ned Quartermaine Confronted Him!
Drew Cain has officially crossed into VILLAIN territory on General Hospital! Drew stole the Quartermaine family heirlooms out of SPITE, and when Ned Quartermaine confronted him about it, things took a DARK turn!
Let’s back up and talk about how we got here! Drew has been on a power trip ever since he returned to Port Charles! He’s been making terrible decisions! He’s been alienating everyone who cares about him! He’s been acting like he’s entitled to everything he wants! And now Drew has stooped to a new low by STEALING from his own family!
The Quartermaine family heirlooms are priceless! They’re not just valuable objects—they’re family history! They represent generations of Quartermaine legacy! These heirlooms belong to the ENTIRE family, not just Drew! But Drew decided to take them anyway because he’s angry and bitter and wants to hurt people!
Ned discovered that Drew stole the heirlooms and confronted him! Ned is one of the most reasonable members of the Quartermaine family! He’s fair! He’s diplomatic! He tries to see all sides of a situation! But even Ned was FURIOUS about what Drew did! Ned threatened to sue Drew for theft! He told Drew that stealing family heirlooms is UNACCEPTABLE and there would be consequences!
And then something TERRIBLE happened! Right in the middle of their confrontation, Ned had a HEART ATTACK! Ned clutched his chest! He was clearly in distress! He needed immediate medical attention! This was a LIFE-THREATENING emergency! And what did Drew do?! Drew LAUGHED! Drew accused Ned of FAKING the heart attack like Edward Quartermaine used to do! Drew thought Ned was putting on an act to get sympathy or manipulate the situation! And then Drew just WALKED AWAY while Ned collapsed!
Drew literally left Ned lying there potentially DYING! Drew didn’t call for help! Drew didn’t check to see if Ned was okay! Drew didn’t do ANYTHING to save Ned’s life! Drew just walked out and left Ned to suffer alone!
Do YOU think Drew KNEW Ned was really having a heart attack? Email your theories to [email protected] because we think Drew wanted Ned to DIE!
What If Drew Cain KNEW Ned Quartermaine Was Really Having A Heart Attack & Let Him Suffer On PURPOSE?!
Here’s where things get SINISTER! What if Drew KNEW Ned was really having a heart attack and decided to let him die on purpose?!
Think about it! Drew has been trying to destroy Michael Corinthos for weeks! Drew wants to take everything from Michael! Drew wants Michael’s position at Aurora! Drew wants Michael’s reputation ruined! Drew wants Michael GONE! And Ned stands between Drew and total control of the Quartermaine family assets!
If Ned DIES, Drew benefits in multiple ways! First, Drew eliminates someone who was about to sue him for theft! Ned can’t take legal action if he’s DEAD! Second, Drew potentially inherits through Scout! Scout is Ned’s great-niece through the complicated Quartermaine family tree! If Ned dies and the inheritance flows through family connections, Drew—as Scout’s father—could have access to Quartermaine wealth!
Third, and this is the MOST DEVIOUS part—Drew could use Ned’s death to frame MICHAEL! Michael also threatened Ned about the heirlooms! Michael was angry that Drew took family property! Michael made it clear he wasn’t happy with the situation! If Ned dies under suspicious circumstances, Michael is the PERFECT patsy!
Drew Cain Has The PERFECT Alibi Because Everyone Knows Edward Quartermaine Used To Fake Heart Attacks!
Drew’s excuse that he thought Ned was faking is GENIUS from a legal standpoint! Everyone in Port Charles knows that Edward Quartermaine used to fake heart attacks to manipulate his family! It was one of Edward’s signature moves! He’d clutch his chest and pretend to be dying whenever he wanted to guilt someone or get his way!
So when Drew claims he thought Ned was faking just like Edward used to do, it’s actually a BELIEVABLE excuse! Drew can say, “I didn’t know Ned was really having a heart attack! I thought he was pulling an Edward! Everyone knows the Quartermaines are dramatic! I thought Ned was trying to manipulate me into giving back the heirlooms!”
It’s the perfect cover story! Drew can act like an innocent man who made an honest mistake! He can claim he had no idea Ned was in real danger! He can say he would have called for help if he’d known it was a genuine medical emergency! Drew’s lawyer could argue that any reasonable person would have been skeptical given the Quartermaine family history of faking heart attacks!
But what if Drew KNEW Ned was really dying and used the “I thought he was faking” excuse as cover?! What if Drew saw that Ned was genuinely suffering and decided this was his opportunity to get rid of someone who threatened him?! Drew could have walked away KNOWING Ned might die, and now he has a built-in excuse that makes him look like he made an understandable error in judgment!
GH Spoilers: What If Drew Cain Actually POISONED Ned Quartermaine Earlier & The Heart Attack Was The POISON Working?!
Here’s an even MORE disturbing theory! What if Drew actually POISONED Ned earlier, and the “heart attack” was actually the poison taking effect?!
Think about the timeline! Drew stole the heirlooms! Drew knew Ned would eventually discover the theft! Drew knew Ned would confront him! What if Drew decided to eliminate Ned BEFORE Ned could take legal action?! What if Drew poisoned Ned with something that would cause heart attack symptoms, and then Drew arranged to be present when Ned confronted him so Drew could witness the results and establish his “I thought he was faking” alibi?!
Poison that mimics heart attack symptoms exists! There are substances that cause chest pain, shortness of breath, cardiac distress—all the same symptoms as a genuine heart attack! If Drew poisoned Ned with something like that, doctors might not even realize Ned was murdered! They’d just assume Ned had a natural heart attack brought on by stress!
And if someone DOES get suspicious and investigates, Drew has his perfect alibi! “I didn’t know Ned was really dying! I thought he was faking!” Drew can act shocked and horrified when he learns Ned actually died! Drew can pretend he feels terrible about not calling for help! But in reality, Drew PLANNED the whole thing!
Drew Cain Could Plant Evidence To Make It Look Like Michael Corinthos POISONED Ned Quartermaine!
But wait—it gets WORSE! Not only could Drew have poisoned Ned, but Drew could also plant evidence to make it look like MICHAEL did it!
Michael also had a conflict with Ned about the heirlooms! Michael was angry that Drew stole family property! Michael made threats! Michael has motive! If Drew plants evidence suggesting Michael had access to poison, or that Michael was at the Quartermaine mansion at suspicious times, or that Michael’s fingerprints are on something connected to Ned’s death—Michael becomes the prime suspect!
Drew has been trying to destroy Michael for WEEKS! Drew wants Michael’s job! Drew wants Michael’s reputation ruined! Drew wants Michael’s family to turn against him! What better way to accomplish ALL of that than to frame Michael for MURDER?!
If Michael gets arrested for Ned’s murder, Michael loses EVERYTHING! Michael loses his position at Aurora! Michael loses his standing in the Quartermaine family! Michael loses custody of Wiley and Amelia! Michael’s entire life gets destroyed! And Drew gets to play the grieving family member who’s shocked and saddened that his nephew could do something so terrible!
Drew could even comfort Scout by saying, “I can’t believe Michael would hurt Uncle Ned! But the evidence doesn’t lie! Sometimes people we love do horrible things!” Drew gets to be the sympathetic father protecting his daughter from the truth about her evil cousin!
Michael Corinthos Is The PERFECT Patsy Because He Also Threatened Ned About The Heirlooms!
The brilliance of Drew’s potential plan is that Michael makes the PERFECT scapegoat! Michael didn’t just have a minor disagreement with Ned—Michael actively threatened him about the stolen heirlooms!
Michael was FURIOUS when he learned Drew took the family heirlooms! Michael sees himself as a protector of Quartermaine legacy! Michael believes in family loyalty! Michael was prepared to take action to get those heirlooms back! Michael made it clear to Ned that he expected something to be done about Drew’s theft!
So when Ned ends up dead under suspicious circumstances, investigators will look at who had motive! And Michael’s name will be RIGHT at the top of that list! Michael threatened Ned! Michael was angry about the heirlooms! Michael has a history of being ruthless when it comes to protecting his family!
Drew can point to Michael’s threats and say, “I’m shocked, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised! Michael has always had a dark side! He’s his father’s son after all! Sonny Corinthos has killed people! Maybe violence runs in the family!” Drew can use Michael’s connection to Sonny against him!
And here’s the really twisted part—the MORE Michael protests his innocence, the GUILTIER he looks! “I didn’t poison Ned! I wouldn’t hurt him! Yes, I was angry about the heirlooms, but I would never KILL someone over it!” But juries don’t always believe protestations of innocence! Sometimes the more someone denies something, the more suspicious it seems!
Drew Cain Is Going To Get Rid Of BOTH Michael Corinthos AND Ned Quartermaine In One Move!
This is the ultimate power play! If Drew’s plan works, he gets rid of TWO obstacles at once! Ned dies, which eliminates someone who was about to sue Drew for theft! And Michael gets framed for the murder, which destroys Michael’s life and reputation!
Drew wins EVERYTHING! Drew keeps the stolen heirlooms! Drew doesn’t face legal consequences for the theft because the person who was suing him is dead! Drew potentially inherits Quartermaine wealth through Scout! Drew destroys Michael’s career and reputation! Drew gets Michael removed from Aurora! Drew gets revenge on Michael for all their conflicts!
It’s the perfect crime! Drew commits murder OR allows someone to die through criminal neglect! Drew frames his enemy for the death! Drew walks away looking like an innocent victim of tragic circumstances! “I can’t believe Michael killed Ned! I can’t believe I didn’t realize Ned was really having a heart attack! This is all so terrible! I’m just trying to hold my family together during this difficult time!”
Drew could even use this tragedy to bond with Scout! “Your cousin Michael did something unforgivable! But don’t worry—Daddy will always protect you! We have to stick together as a family!” Drew positions himself as the hero while Michael rots in prison for a crime he didn’t commit!
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Drew Cain Really THIS Evil Or Did He Actually Think Ned Was Faking?!
The big question is—how far has Drew actually fallen?! Is Drew really evil enough to commit murder or let someone die? Or did Drew genuinely believe Ned was faking the heart attack?!
The old Drew—the Drew who was a hero, who served his country, who loved his family, who tried to do the right thing—would NEVER let someone die! The old Drew would have immediately called for help! The old Drew would have erred on the side of caution and assumed the heart attack was real!
But current Drew? Current Drew is UNRECOGNIZABLE! Current Drew has done SO many terrible things! Drew slept with Willow! Drew betrayed Michael! Drew used his position in Congress unethically! Drew stole family heirlooms! Drew has been vindictive and cruel and selfish!
Has Drew crossed the line from “making bad decisions” to “actual villain willing to commit murder”?! Or is there still some good left in Drew that will make him feel guilty if Ned actually dies?!
The General Hospital writers have taken Drew down a DARK path! Drew’s character assassination has been thorough and shocking! Fans barely recognize the man who returned from captivity! Drew has become someone who prioritizes revenge over family, power over integrity, and self-interest over morality!
If Ned dies and Drew faces no consequences, it proves Drew has become a true villain! But if Drew shows genuine remorse and horror when he realizes Ned was really dying, maybe there’s hope for Drew’s redemption! The question is—which version of Drew are we watching?! The man who made a terrible mistake? Or the man who committed premeditated murder?!
