TL;DR: General Hospital came for our nerves this week. A villain turned on the gas and strolled away, a bodyguard took a bullet and whispered a baby name, a dead man appeared in Anna’s hotel room, Britt’s diagnosis turned out to be a total fabrication, and Josslyn ended Cullum with a shotgun. Port Charles will never be the same.

Cullum Strapped a Gas Mask on Jack and Walked Away Whistling

Ross Cullum has done plenty of dirty work in the shadows, but Tuesday he went full horror movie. The rogue WSB director strolled into Turning Woods, found Jack Brennan restrained to his bed, and calmly informed him a DNR was already on file. Then he pulled a gas mask from a box, strapped it to Jack’s face, and turned on the carbon monoxide.

General Hospital let that image sit, and it was chilling. Cullum walked out and left Jack to die alone in a care facility, which is a level of cold even Port Charles rarely serves. Thank goodness Nina Reeves showed up with dinner, ripped the mask off, and performed CPR until Jack gasped back to life. Her split-second decision not to run for help, but to stay and breathe for him herself, saved his life. Now Jack is hiding under a new alias, and Cullum’s kill list officially failed its first entry.

Ethan Took a Bullet for Ava, Then Dropped a Name Nobody Expected

When Sidwell aimed his gun at Ava Jerome in her own gallery, Ethan Lovett leapt in front of her without a second thought and caught the bullet in his backside. Ava patching up his bleeding bottom with her expensive drop cloths, all while scolding him for it, was pure gold from Maura West and Nathan Dean.

Then the shock landed. A delirious, blood-drained Ethan mumbled, “Phoebe, not my daughter,” and Ava’s jaw hit the floor along with ours. General Hospital tossed that grenade and cut away, leaving us to spiral over what it means. Ethan came back to town carrying a baby secret, and now a name is attached. Whatever the truth turns out to be, that gallery storage room is where it started bleeding out, literally and figuratively.

Anna Closed the Door and Saw a Dead Man Smiling

Anna Devane finally got her vindication this week. Felicia Scorpio confirmed the impostor story to the doctor, who declared Anna ready to go home. It was a lovely, tearful victory lap.

Then Anna shut the door, turned around, and there sat Peter. “Nicely done, do you think she bought it?” he purred, and every last one of us screamed at the television. Finola Hughes played that final beat with ice in her veins, and now we have a thousand questions about what is actually happening inside Anna’s head. Was the whole recovery a performance? Is Peter a hallucination, a memory, or something far worse? The woman spent weeks insisting she was sane, and one line from a dead man flipped the entire board.

Britt Never Had Huntington’s at All

The cruelest twist of the week belongs to Britt Westbourne. During the dock showdown, Cullum gloated to Cassius that Britt’s Huntington’s diagnosis was fabricated from the very beginning, a lie engineered to force her into finishing Faison’s work.

Every desperate choice Britt made, every treatment, every tear, was built on a hoax. Monday already hinted at it when Joe revealed her syringe held nothing but saline, and Thursday confirmed the full horror. General Hospital rewrote an entire storyline in one sneer, and we are still recovering. Cullum even bragged about the poisoned meds he sent her, cackling that she was probably already dead. Kelly Thiebaud’s Britt sat in a jail cell on Friday absorbing the fallout, and our hearts broke for her all over again.

Josslyn Crawled to a Shotgun and Ended Cullum for Good

Cullum thought he had won. He shot Cassius above the heart, bragged about the frame job he had planned, and monologued like a man with all the time in the world. He forgot about the wounded blonde crawling across the dock behind him.

Josslyn Jacks dragged herself to a shotgun, waited for her moment, and blasted Cullum square in the chest before passing out cold. Eden McCoy was ferocious, and General Hospital gave its big villain the ending he earned, delivered by the young agent he underestimated. The WSB helicopter arrived moments later to find its corrupt director face down on the dock. Port Charles can finally exhale, even if Joss may never be the same.
