General Hospital Recap September 25, 2026: Jenz Sidwell Ignores the Warning, and Curtis Ashford Picks the Wrong Cell to Be a Hero

THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP GETS UGLY BEHIND BARS

TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Curtis Ashford trying to save Jenz Sidwell from a Pentonville ambush and landing on the floor right beside him, Sonny Corinthos swearing to Justine Turner that he’s never been more honest, Valentin Cassadine and Lulu Spencer deciding Charlotte Cassadine’s next address is a boarding school, Brook Lynn Quartermaine figuring out exactly why Chase moved back home, and Jordan Ashford getting a very chilly hello from her sister, Monet Mitchell.

Curtis Ashford Plays Prison Bodyguard

Pentonville has never been a great place to make friends, and it turned out to be an especially lousy place to share a cell with Jenz Sidwell. After a fellow inmate quietly advised him to be anywhere but his cell after lunch, Curtis Ashford did the decent thing and passed the tip along. His suggestion was simple: go to the warden and ask for protective custody. Sidwell’s answer was equally simple: no thanks, he’d roll the dice. A fascinating choice from a man who had beggedAlexis Davis only a day earlier to get Sonny Corinthos off his back.

The dice came up snake eyes. Sidwell was by himself when one of Sonny’s associates strolled in with two fellow inmates and went to work on him. Curtis walked back in at the worst possible second, right when a thug was lining up a shank, and did what any man with a conscience and zero sense of self-preservation would do. He jumped in. Unfortunately, nobility doesn’t come with backup, and by the time the fists stopped flying, both cellmates were sprawled on the floor while the attackers strolled out like they’d finished a shift.

Before leaving, the ringleader dropped Sonny’s name and made it clear this was a down payment, not the full bill. Keep in mind Sonny recently reminded Ric Lansing that he’d promised Laura Collins he wouldn’t go after Drew Cain. Technically, Sidwell is not Drew. Loophole located. As for Curtis, so much for keeping his head down and focusing on parole.

Sonny Calls It Total Honesty

Picking up where their last rendezvous left off, Sonny and Justine Turner sat down at his place to figure out what happens now that Jordan Ashford knows about those parking-lot kisses. Justine had doubts about what sort of romance two people can really have in the shadows, especially with a district attorney campaign on her plate.

Sonny’s pitch? They have each other. He even confided that it’s been ages since he was this upfront with a woman he truly cares about. Upfront. Said the man whose name was being invoked on a Pentonville cell floor. Justine decided that sounded good enough, and the two agreed to keep sneaking around. Nothing could possibly go wrong for a DA hopeful dating a man half of Port Charles still associates with the mob.

Charlotte’s Getting a New Zip Code

Remember when Valentin Cassadine ominously told his daughter she wouldn’t be seeing Danny Morgan at school anymore? Turns out he meant it literally. He informed Carly Spencer that he’s shipping Charlotte Cassadine off to boarding school, and his master plan also involved never, ever telling Lulu Spencer what the kid had tried to pull on Drew. Carly, whose own early résumé includes stealing the identity of a dead friend named Charlotte (you can’t make this up), talked him into coming clean.

Across town, Lulu had invited Jason Morgan over to discuss the steady stream of trouble Charlotte and his son, Danny, keep generating together. Jason agreed the two teens need a much shorter leash, but before this co-parenting summit could produce an actual plan, Valentin knocked. Jason made himself scarce, and Valentin served Lulu a dish he rarely orders: humble pie. He conceded Lulu had called it on Charlotte’s wild streak, walked her through the plot to blackmail Drew on Danny’s behalf, apologized for tuning out her warnings, and floated boarding school. This is the same Lulu who told him he was too busy being the cool dad to actually parent, so she was very gracious about not saying “I told you so” out loud.

Jason, meanwhile, headed to Carly’s, where she brought him up to speed. The best friends agreed they see plenty of their own teenage selves reflected in those two kids, which, given their combined rap sheets, should frighten every adult in Port Charles. Jason’s real concern was how Danny will handle it if his partner in crime gets shipped away.

Down at the boathouse, Charlotte was busy tearing a strip off Rocco Falconeri for sabotaging her grand plan to trap Drew. Rocco refused to back down, yelling that he’d kept her from blowing up her whole future. Charlotte’s rebuttal: he was really showing off for Scout Cain. Ah, siblings.

Then Lulu rang Rocco and summoned both of them home. Charlotte walked in solo, took one look at her father sitting there, and immediately launched into an apology to her mom, swearing nothing like it would ever happen twice. Too late, sweetie. When her parents dropped the boarding school bomb, Charlotte Cassadine was speechless, a genuine first in recorded history.

Brook Lynn Reads Between the Lines

Meanwhile, at the Q mansion, Hudson Parker wandered in hunting for his boss and wound up helping Brook Lynn Quartermaine set up a travel crib out in the solarium. He even squeezed in a round of peekaboo with the baby. This is the same guy who once compared working for his boss to a nonstop kickboxing class, so apparently infants are a lot less punishing. The moment Chase walked in, though, Hudson vanished.

Chase explained the whole point of coming home was being nearer to their daughter, while stressing that the marriage itself was still undecided. Brook Lynn sniffed out in about four seconds that this was his attorney’s brainchild, and it stung that her husband was treating the move as a courtroom tactic while she was fighting to save them. She told him to enjoy his time with the baby, declared she couldn’t stand to be in the same room with him, and fled. Considering who’s actually hoping this marriage implodes, Brook Lynn might want to check which relatives are cheering from the balcony.

Speaking of which, a day after volunteering for Tracy Quartermaine‘s adultery sting, Michael Corinthos cornered his sister, Josslyn Jacks, over lunch at the Gardens and asked her to keep tabs on Willow Tait and Chase whenever they’re on Quartermaine turf in hopes of catching an affair. Josslyn was repulsed and flatly refused, then informed Michael that poking around in Brook Lynn’s love life was pure Drew. In Port Charles, that’s roughly the same as being read your rights. Hudson eventually tracked his boss down and filled her in on the frost he’d witnessed between the unhappy couple, because nothing in that mansion stays private for long.

Jordan Gets a Sisterly Ambush

Elsewhere in the Gardens, Jordan and her long-estranged younger sister, Monet Mitchell, had a reunion so frosty the waiters probably needed coats. Monet kept right on taking potshots at the scars on Jordan’s face, and Jordan dryly thanked her for all that sisterly support after she’d almost died. Warm family moments, brought to you by Port Charles.

Jordan smelled something fishy about Monet suddenly relocating to town for a job at Miller & Davis. When she asked point-blank whether this move had anything to do with her, Monet slithered around a real answer, offering only that since they’d be sharing a zip code now, Jordan deserved a heads-up and not a crumb more. For the record, Monet has been here about a minute and has already moved Chase back into the Quartermaine mansion. She works fast.

Once Monet swanned off, Michael drifted over to see how Jordan was holding up and got the backstory. He wondered whether Monet might be looking to mend fences, but Jordan wasn’t buying it. Whatever her sister wants in Port Charles, it isn’t a matching friendship bracelet.

Port Charles Picks Its Battles

A cell turned into a battlefield, and Curtis ended up on the floor for trying to be the good guy. Sonny promised a DA hopeful nothing but honesty while his name echoed through Pentonville. Charlotte got her boarding school sentence, Brook Lynn learned her husband’s homecoming came with a legal strategy attached, Michael tried and failed to recruit his sister as a spy, and Jordan discovered her sister came to town packing grudges instead of hugs. Friday really went for the jugular.
