General Hospital Recap September 24, 2026: Jenz Sidwell Is Sure Someone Wants Him Dead, And Alexis Davis Is His Emergency Contact

SIDWELL AND ALEXIS SPAR IN THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP

TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Jenz Sidwell begging Alexis Davis to take his case while swearing Sonny Corinthos wants him dead, Sonny and Ava Jerome going to war over Avery before Ava signs up for a very uneasy alliance with Drew Cain, Tracy Quartermaine letting Chase move home only to recruit Michael Corinthos into a plot starring Willow Tait, and Jordan Ashford confronting Justine Turner about that kiss before bumping into a sister she was not hoping to see.

Sidwell And Alexis Talk Terms

Pentonville’s visiting room gets a very unusual client consultation when Jenz Sidwell asks Alexis Davis to be his lawyer. His pitch: he only signed that plea deal because he was squeezed into it, so naturally he’d like a do-over in the form of a brand-new trial. Bold ask from a man whose résumé reads like a Most Wanted poster, but you have to admire the confidence.

Alexis turns him down flat, and that’s when Sidwell plays his trump card, insisting Sonny Corinthos is trying to get him killed. Now, normally, we’d file that under “paranoid inmate ramblings,” except a fellow prisoner warned his cellmate, Curtis Ashford, to find somewhere else to be after lunch the day before. Sonny’s retirement from the mob is going about as well as everyone predicted.

Alexis still won’t budge, so as the guards lead him away, a rattled Sidwell downgrades his request to a desperate plea: if she won’t represent him, could she at least persuade Sonny to back off? Watching the man who once terrorized half of Port Charles beg for mercy is deeply satisfying, and also a little concerning. Whatever is coming for Sidwell, he clearly thinks it has his name on the menu.

Sonny And Ava Declare War

Speaking of Sonny, Ava Jerome storms his place over his scheme to pull Avery Corinthos and Donna Corinthos out of class for a Big Apple ballet excursion. Ava refuses to sign off, and Sonny snaps back that he doesn’t need her blessing since he holds the reins on custody. Things escalate into a full-volume screaming match, with Ava vowing to drag him back before a judge while Sonny vows to poison Avery against her own mother. Parenting goals, truly.

Cornered, Ava grudgingly tells the school Avery can miss class, but she leaves Sonny’s house with a brand-new life mission: destroy him. Later, she links up with Drew Cain and makes it crystal clear she’ll never trust him again after he framed Nina Reeves, but she’s willing to do whatever it takes to finish Sonny off permanently. Nothing says healthy partnership like two people who can’t stand each other teaming up against a third person they hate even more.

Tracy Quartermaine Recruits A Wingman

Over at the gym, Chase fills Willow Tait in on his sit-down with Monet Mitchell, including her advice to get himself back under the Quartermaine roof so his rights as a dad stay protected if things with Brook Lynn Quartermaine end in divorce. He still loves his wife, he says, but he’s not sure they can fix anything with her relatives meddling at every turn. Willow sympathizes, shares how moving back into the gatehouse has been great for her kids, and tells him coming home is the best gift he can give his daughter. Then Chase heads out, Willow ducks into the sauna, and her imagination serves up a very steamy daydream starring the two of them. Literally and figuratively, it’s getting hot in there.

Meanwhile, at the mansion, Monet lays down the law with Tracy Quartermaine: let Chase come home to his daughter. Tracy says no, so Monet threatens to file separation papers for her client, custody arrangement included. The two women go toe-to-toe over which parent would come out ahead in a divorce, and Monet closes with a warning for Tracy to put her great-granddaughter first. Two sharp-tongued women in one foyer? The furniture is lucky it survived.

Elsewhere, Drew tells Michael Corinthos he spotted Willow and Chase looking cozy at the gym. Michael shrugs it off, saying he’s moved on and keeping things civil with his ex is what’s best for their kids. Drew gets introspective about the damage he’s done and insists he wants a fresh start too, then pitches a three-way power alliance with Michael plus Jordan Ashford to push Aurora to new heights. Michael reminds him that working with Drew and trusting Drew are two very different things.

Tracy caves on Chase moving back in, and Michael thinks it’s a terrible idea. Chase arrives, Tracy rattles off her house rules, and he escapes upstairs to settle into his temporary quarters. Once Chase is out of earshot, Tracy lets Michael in on her master plan: steer Chase straight into an affair with Willow so Brook Lynn walks away with full custody. Michael’s reaction? He grins and asks how he can pitch in. So much for being cordial with the ex, Michael.

Jordan Ashford Keeps A Secret

At the Gardens restaurant, Jordan informs Justine Turner that she caught her making out with Sonny outside the Brown Dog. Justine admits her feelings are real, but Jordan warns that going public could drag her campaign through the mud, since Sonny’s past will stain her no matter how legit he claims to be now. Justine thanks her for keeping quiet and caring, then promptly texts Sonny for a rendezvous at the hideaway over Charlie’s Pub, where she frets that this could be their final meetup because Jordan saw them. A D.A. candidate sneaking off to meet a former mob boss? What could possibly go wrong.

Jordan, meanwhile, gets stood up by her next appointment, and as she’s heading out, she walks smack into Monet. Surprise! Monet is her younger sister, and Jordan could not be less excited about her arrival in town. Monet wastes zero time going for the jugular, eyeing the scar on Jordan’s face and asking whether it’s a fresh fashion choice. Sibling rivalry, Port Charles style. We’re going to need popcorn.
