General Hospital Spoilers for Wednesday, July 10

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 10, focus on dangerous moves, finding common ground, and a favorite soap opera pastime: eavesdropping.

Sonny and Jason’s Tense Meeting in Port Charles

How long has Jason been back in Port Charles? In all those months, he’s had limited face time with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Sonny has isolated himself while holding an inner circle of one-ish. Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton — who recently talked to Benard on SOM) has been working with Anna (Finola Hughes) to get himself out from under Cates’s (Adam J. Harrington) FBI thumb.

Well, it’s time for another Sonny and Jason meeting of the minds. Surely, we’re about to get the requisite shouting, eye rolls, insults, and “get out of my life” moments we’re used to. But if Sonny questions Jason, does this mean there’s an open line of communication? And if there’s an open line of communication, will these two finally have a productive conversation? We’d settle for Jason figuring out somebody tampered with Sonny’s meds. At this point, it doesn’t matter how that info is revealed. Only that it is revealed a.s.a.p.

Ava’s Dangerous Move Against Sonny

It’s safe to say everybody in Port Charles needs to watch out since Ava (Maura West) makes a dangerous move. Currently, the focus of her rage is Sonny Corinthos. What move is she about to make, and will any collateral damage, destruction, and/or despair happen as a result? (Check up on GH Comings & Goings here)

Agent Cates Eavesdrops on Conversations

Meanwhile, Agent Cates does some eavesdropping. Does he listen in on an Anna conversation? Is he serious in thinking Anna is the head of Pikeman? Or is he pretending that that’s a thing? Because he’s the FBI — he shouldn’t be 17 steps behind the PCPD. Hopefully, this guy will get with the program and cut the Jason Morgan cord. It’s getting him nowhere. He should have paired up with Anna and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) all along. That would have been the smart move.

Cody and Willow Find Unexpected Common Ground

Cody (Josh Kelly — who’s hoping for more screen time with this GH actor) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) find common ground. Let’s see what this teaser could be about. Do they both feel they should be in the doghouse with their loved ones? Is that the common ground they talk about? Or maybe they chat about their less-than-orthodox upbringings. One more option: finding out about their bio parents later in life. There’s a lot they can speak to about that, considering Cody comes clean about Mac (John J. York) and Willow is trying to make peace with Nina (Cynthia Watros).

Michael’s Slip of the Tongue to Drew

Finally, Michael (Chad Duell) lets something slip to Drew (Cameron Mathison). Are we sure it’s Michael who has a slip of the tongue? Because it could easily be Drew. Just saying.

  1. Sonny and Jason will have a face-to-face meeting in Port Charles.
  2. Ava is planning a dangerous move against Sonny Corinthos.
  3. Agent Cates is eavesdropping on conversations in Port Charles.
  4. Cody and Willow unexpectedly find common ground.
  5. Michael lets something slip to Drew in conversation.
