Molly Lansing Davis didn’t expect her day at General Hospital to end up trapped on the roof with Cody Bell – especially since she’d been doing everything possible to avoid him! After getting a checkup from Elizabeth Webber, Cody chased Molly down, desperate to apologize for his behavior during his recent stint in lockup. But what started as Molly trying to dodge his attempts at making amends turned into a dramatic forced proximity situation when they found themselves locked out on the hospital roof together!
With temperatures dropping and no way to call for help (Cody’s phone left in his coat downstairs and Molly’s battery dead), the unlikely pair had no choice but to face each other. As they bickered over whose fault the lockout was and tried yelling for help, something unexpected happened – they actually started to bond!
Just when Cody was lamenting that Tracy Quartermaine would fire him for not having her horse ready, Molly dropped a bombshell confession – she had been avoiding him because she possessed documents she wasn’t supposed to have! Talk about being trapped with your secrets!
But this rooftop drama was just one thread in an explosive day in Port Charles. At Bobbie’s, Sonny Corinthos revealed to Jason Morgan that he needs an operation but is delaying it for three months while they investigate who fire-bombed his apartment. Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore found herself mixed up with a PI named Elaine whose dog seemed to know something about Sasha’s condition – leading to a calculated theft of Elaine’s notebook after creating a chaotic distraction!
Over at the PCPD, Anna Devane had to kick Dante Falconeri out while he was on leave, only to later arrest Jason after he admitted he’d do anything to protect his son. And in a shocking twist, Ric Lansing and Ava Jerome shared secret kisses while plotting against Sonny – only to be interrupted by Sonny himself banging on Ava’s door!
As alliances shift and secrets threaten to explode, one thing’s for certain – that rooftop lockdown between Molly and Cody could be the start of an unexpected new dynamic in Port Charles. After all, nothing brings people together quite like being trapped with their secrets!
