Nina’s hopes of reconciling with Willow have been dashed, as the latter’s time runs out and she continues to resist her mother’s efforts to reach out. Nina’s vow to take revenge on everyone from Carly to Drew, coupled with Sonny’s promise to sever ties with Michael, has pushed them closer together. However, their cycle of anger and revenge could spell disaster for their relationship.

As Carly knows exactly what Brenda means to Sonny, she could potentially track down Brenda and bring her back to Port Charles just in time to crash Sonny and Nina’s wedding. With the history of wedding disasters between Sonny and Brenda, Nina’s chances of happiness with Sonny could be torpedoed by the return of his former flame.

The continued tit-for-tat payback and impending threat of Carly’s involvement may mean that Nina’s desire for revenge will inevitably boomerang back to hurt her, and may ultimately ruin her relationship with Sonny.
