GH WEEKLY SPOILERS—OCTOBER 26-30: Hired Guns, Hushed Voices, and a Family Caught Flat-Footed

This Week in Port Charles

Port Charles is about to learn what happens when everybody is nervous at the same time. Phone calls get made behind closed doors, advice gets handed out whether anyone asked for it or not, and a few folks discover that the questions they have been dodging are the ones people keep asking. By midweek the whole place feels like a pot with the lid rattling.

The back half of the week is where the fallout lands. One family finds its footing knocked sideways, an old rivalry gets dusted off for another round, and a couple of younger residents start to suspect that their problems are far bigger than a bad week. Bring snacks, because this town does not do quiet.

Monday, October 26th

Valentin Cassadine and Carly Spencer team up on a fresh assignment. Nothing has been released about what it involves, but a couple that works together tends to either grow closer or find new things to bicker about, and with these two it could be both.

Jason Morgan cautions Willow Tait. Earlier recaps had him and Tracy Quartermaine discussing what to do if Willow ever tried to move away with her kids, so whatever he says to her arrives with weight behind it. Willow would be smart to hear him out.

Curtis Ashford is handed bad news. That is the entire description we have, so we can only guess how heavy it is.

Rocco Falconeri and Scout Cain share a secret, and it looks like somebody may be getting close to it. Whoever is circling had better move fast, because teenagers are terrible at keeping the lid on anything.

Lulu Spencer gets an earful about her daughter Charlotte Cassadine and does not like a word of it. After Charlotte was packed off to boarding school in Maine, Lulu has plenty of reasons to fret over what she hears next.

Tuesday, October 27th

Sonny Corinthos squares off with Alexis Davis. The topic has not been revealed, but Sonny rarely goes looking for a conversation unless he wants answers, and Alexis has never been one to hand them over cheaply.

Portia Robinson steps in to help Ava Jerome, a team-up that sounds like it came from a fan’s wildest wish list. How bad things have gotten for Ava is a mystery for now, though after what she has been hiding, we have a few suspicions.

Dante Falconeri frets that his son Gio Palmieri is setting himself up for a broken heart. Whose heart, and over what, remains under wraps. Any parent can relate to watching a grown kid march toward trouble.

Scout confides in Drew Cain, her dad, in what should be a tender father-daughter moment. Pair that with the heavy secret Drew is already carrying, and it gets deliciously awkward.

Danny Morgan, Jason’s son, lays down an ultimatum. Who it is aimed at and what it demands are both unknown, but Danny is clearly done being polite about it.

Wednesday, October 28th

Ava brings in an attorney, and from where we sit, that looks like a woman who senses the walls closing in. Joe Fitzpatrick has been pressing her about Jack Brennan, so a smart lawyer might be the best investment she ever makes.

Dante speaks up for Lulu when she needs it most. As Rocco’s father, he has a stake in the outcome, and after their rocky stretch it is a nice surprise to see him in her corner.

Britt Westbourne drops news that leaves Willow stunned. Good news or bad, the promo is not saying, though given where Britt has been lately, anything is possible.

Carly airs her theories to someone, and the identity of that someone has not been shared. Carly has a nose for trouble, and she tends to be right at the worst possible time.

Tracy detonates a bombshell, and the details are locked in a vault. With Tracy, the more mysterious the buildup, the louder the boom, so keep your seat belts fastened.

Thursday, October 29th

The Quartermaine clan reels. Presumably this is the aftershock of what Tracy revealed a day earlier, though that connection is our best guess and nothing official.

Anna Devane makes a breakthrough, a happy change after the grueling sessions she has endured with Dr. Nichols and Valentin by her side. Progress like this has been a long time coming.

Tracy gets ready for a showdown. Against whom is unclear, but when she starts sharpening her armor, everybody in the room should check their exits.

Joe interviews Carly, and since he has been chasing the Jack Brennan trail, her name coming up should surprise nobody. Carly sees a lot from her seat at Metro Court, so there is plenty she could be asked about.

Ric Lansing comes to Alexis with a favor to ask. The two share a daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis, which gives them a complicated bond, and we are dying to learn what he wants and what she expects in return.

Friday, October 30th

Jason grills Josslyn Jacks, who is the daughter of Carly. He quizzed her about Sonny’s trouble earlier this month, and this encore suggests he did not love what he heard. Josslyn may find that her godfather is not the type to take the hint.

Dante, along with Elizabeth Baldwin, is thrown by something, and the cause is still a secret. They have leaned on each other plenty lately, so at least neither has to face it alone.

Danny owns up to something. A confession from a kid his age can be a tiny thing or a giant one, and the blank space after it is driving us up the wall.

Emma Scorpio-Drake and Trina Robinson grow worried. The anonymous bouquets from Alan Smith and the fan site that crops everyone else out of Trina’s photos are creepy enough on their own, and we are hoping the adults around them listen when they speak up.

Lulu is dealt a letdown, and the specifics are held back for now. After the week she has had, one more dent in her spirits is the last thing she needs.

By Friday, one hired lawyer, one detonated bombshell, and a few too many ominous gifts will have wrecked everyone’s weekend plans.
