JASON MORGAN’S ESCAPE PLAN HAS A PROBLEM AND HIS NAME IS ROSS CULLUM

TL;DR: On General Hospital, Jason Morgan has arranged for Britt Westbourne to vanish to an off-grid farm in Canada before Cullum or Sidwell can get to her. Marco Rios is the inside man who needs to steal her medication from his own father’s safe. And then Cullum called Marco directly and demanded a meeting. Jason Morgan does not know this yet.

The Plan That Cannot Afford to Fall Apart

Jason Morgan does not make plans unless he intends to see them through. When Britt Westbourne showed up at the cabin in a panic and told him she was out of time, that she either finished the cold fusion project or disappeared, Jason already had the answer ready. An off-grid farm in Canada. Brick waiting. A way out that nobody in Port Charles could trace.

There was only one problem. Britt cannot leave without her medication, the vial that Jenz Sidwell has been using to keep her compliant, locked in a safe at Wyndemere that only a handful of people can open. Which is where Marco Rioscomes in.

Lucas Jones told Jason that Marco was in on the plan. Marco has access to the safe. Marco loves Lucas enough to risk everything his father has built to get Britt that medication. What Jason did not know, and what Lucas confirmed at the cabin, was that Marco did not know Jason was involved. He was doing this for Britt and for Lucas, quietly, without understanding the full scope of what he was walking into.

And then Ross Cullum sent Marco a message demanding they meet.

Think Jason’s escape plan survives Cullum getting to Marco first? Send your hottest theories to [email protected] and we could publish them right here!

The Double Agent Problem

Ross Cullum is Sidwell’s partner. Britt told Jack Brennan that Cullum has been sabotaging every WSB mission from the inside, which is why nothing has stuck. Cullum is not just dangerous — he is dangerous and invisible, operating at the top of the organization with nobody above him to answer to. And he has now made direct contact with the one person inside Jason Morgan’s plan who does not know how deep this goes.

Marco is trying to do the right thing. That is exactly what makes him the most vulnerable person in this entire operation. He told Lucas he worried he was turning out like his father. Lucas told him that wanting to do the right thing was what made him nothing like Sidwell. It was a beautiful moment. It was also the kind of moment that General Hospital uses to set someone up for the worst week of their life.

So Here Is the Speculation

Cullum calling Marco is not a coincidence. Cullum is methodical and he is watching every thread connected to Sidwell’s operation. If he has reason to suspect Marco is moving against his father, that meeting is a trap. And if Marco walks into it without telling Jason or Lucas what is happening, the medication never leaves that safe, Britt never makes it to Canada, and Jason is left holding a plan with no way out.

Our speculation: Marco goes to that meeting alone because he does not want to put Lucas in more danger. He thinks he can handle it. He cannot. And whatever Cullum says or does in that room is going to force Marco into an impossible choice between protecting Jason’s operation and protecting his own father from going down with Cullum when this all collapses.

Do you think Marco survives being caught between Cullum and Jason Morgan, or is Port Charles about to lose its most lovable new couple? Sound off below!
