JENZ SIDWELL IS A FUGITIVE AGAIN AND PORT CHARLES HAS ONLY ITSELF TO BLAME

TL;DR: On General Hospital, Jenz Sidwell shot Lucas Jones three times, except Lucas was wearing a vest and the whole thing was a PCPD sting. Sidwell got cuffed for attempted murder, then “Nathan” sprung him on the way to booking. Now Jenz is in the wind, and we are speculating on how far he gets before the law, or Sonny, drags him back.

The Setup Was Flawless

Here is how you catch a man who thinks he is untouchable. You give him exactly what he wants. Lucas Jones stood at the Marco Rios Tennis Center site and let Jenz Sidwell believe he had him cornered, confessing, provoking, daring the grieving father to pull the trigger. Sidwell did. Three shots to the chest, point blank.

And then Lucas stood back up. The vest did its job, Dante and Joe stepped out from behind the building, and the cuffs came out. The photos Sidwell wanted to use against Laura and Sonny? Gone, lifted by his own houseguest. The murder charge he tried to throw at them? No evidence to back it. In one beautifully staged moment, the man who spent months treating Wyndemere like a fortress got played by a doctor in a bulletproof vest and a police commissioner with a plan. Chef’s kiss.

The Twist Nobody Should Have Trusted

Now here is where Port Charles fumbled the bag. With Sidwell cuffed and beaten, Dante handed him off to “Nathan” for the drive to booking. Bad call. Because the man wearing Nathan West’s face is Cassius Faison, and Cassius has his own family tangled up in Cullum’s operation. Sidwell muttered that they had set something unstoppable in motion by railroading him, and Cassius understood every word of it.

So Cassius pulled the car over, told Sidwell he could not shield him from an attempted murder charge, and urged him to flee the country. Sidwell, ever the chess player, reminded him of the contingency plans keeping them both chained to Cullum. Then the two of them staged the escape, complete with a fake call to Dante claiming Sidwell’s men had jumped “Nathan” and knocked him out. The arrest of the year, undone in a roadside minute by the one man Dante never should have trusted with the keys.

Why This Time Could Be Different

Now we speculate, and the board is wide open. Jenz Sidwell is a fugitive with money, contingency plans, and a network, which is precisely the kind of villain a soap loves to let run just long enough to do maximum damage. The official manhunt is coming, Dante will not take this humiliation lying down, and the PCPD has a fresh attempted-murder charge with witnesses, including Laura and Sonny.

But here is the question that actually matters. Sidwell still believes Lucas Jones, Laura, and Sonny conspired to put his son in the ground. A cornered Sidwell with nothing left to lose is far more dangerous than the smug one we have watched lord over Spoon Island. We think he uses his head start not to vanish quietly, but to settle scores on his way out, which puts a very specific target on a very specific mobster.

The Wild Card With a Capital S

Because let us be honest, the law is not the only thing hunting Jenz Sidwell now. Sonny Corinthos does not wait for due process, and Sidwell just spent months trying to frame him for murder. An official fugitive is a problem for the PCPD. A man who came after Sonny and slipped his cuffs is a problem Sonny solves personally. We are betting the race to find Sidwell turns into exactly that, a race, with Dante working the legal channels and Sonny working the ones that do not require a warrant. And we know which of those two tends to get there first.

So how far does Jenz Sidwell get? Our call: far enough to be terrifying, long enough to take one more swing at the people he blames, and right up until the moment he forgets that escaping the PCPD and escaping Sonny Corinthos are two very different things.
