CULLUM TRAPS LIESL OBRECHT IN A CHILLING FAISON NIGHTMARE

TL;DR: On General Hospital, Ross Cullum kidnaps Liesl and tries to force her to finish Cesar Faison’s deadly final project. Trapped in a Wyndemere cell with Josslyn Jacks, Liesl wakes to a shocking face in the doorway, but is it really her son?

Cullum’s Cruelest Move Yet

On General Hospital, the walls of Wyndemere just got a whole lot darker. Ross Cullum has crossed a line even his coldest enemies never saw coming. He ambushed Liesl Obrecht from the backseat of her own car, clamped a gloved hand over her mouth, and dragged the unconscious doctor into captivity. When she finally comes to, she isn’t in a hospital or a holding cell. She’s a prisoner in the shadow of a dead man’s obsession.

And she isn’t alone. Josslyn Jacks is already locked in that same sub-basement, and she watched the whole thing happen in horror. Josslyn screamed at Cullum, demanding to know what he had done, while Liesl stirred awake, disoriented and terrified. Two women, one ruthless captor, and a secret laboratory buried beneath the castle. This is the kind of old-school villainy that built General Hospital into a legend.

Faison’s Final Project Rises From the Grave

What does Cullum want from her? Something monstrous. Spoilers confirm he is trying to force Liesl to complete Cesar Faison‘s so-called final project, a dangerous device the late madman never finished. Faison may be long dead, but his poison keeps spreading through Port Charles, and now the man who once tormented this entire town is reaching out from beyond the grave to claim one more victim.

Liesl knows Faison’s evil better than anyone alive. He was the great, terrible love of her life and the father of her children. The idea of being chained to his legacy, forced to build the very thing he dreamed of, is a special kind of torture. Could this mean Cullum plans to weaponize her grief and her guilt against her? My gut tells me he is counting on exactly that.

The Stranger in the Doorway

Then comes the cruelest twist of all. Just as Josslyn is about to blurt out the truth, a familiar face walks into the cell and Liesl’s heart leaps. She believes her son Nathan West has come to rescue her. But fans know the gut-wrenching reality. Nathan died back in 2018, and the man standing in that doorway is Cassius Faison, Nathan’s identical twin and the fourth Faison child Liesl never knew she carried.

Reading between the lines, this reunion is a ticking time bomb. Cassius has spent months hiding behind his dead brother’s face, working with Jenz Sidwell and Cullum on Faison’s twisted endgame. Spoilers hint that a major confession could be coming, and when the truth finally lands, the woman who just felt a flicker of hope may be shattered all over again.

Liesl Obrecht Caught Between Love and Survival

Here is what makes this so dangerous for Liesl Obrecht. She is a survivor and a schemer, the kind of woman who has outlasted enemies far scarier than Cullum. But this time her own family is the leverage. Her daughter Britt Westbourne already vanished from Port Charles to keep Rocco Falconeri safe from Cullum’s blackmail, leaving the final project without a scientist. That is precisely why Cullum came hunting. Liesl was always his backup plan.

Don’t be surprised if this whole scheme blows up in Cullum’s face. Forcing a Faison-hardened survivor into a corner is a reckless gamble, and history says Liesl does not stay cornered for long. Something tells me she will smile, play along, and quietly plot the downfall of everyone holding her hostage. This has all the makings of a slow-burn revenge that ends with Cullum choking on his own arrogance.

What This Means for Port Charles

The stakes stretch far beyond one prison cell. If Cullum truly succeeds in forcing Liesl Obrecht to finish what Faison started, the fallout could swallow the entire city. A completed weapon in the hands of Cullum and Sidwell would put everyone in danger and drag a fresh wave of heroes straight into the crossfire. This isn’t just a kidnapping. It is the spark that could set Port Charles ablaze.

For now, Liesl is trapped, frightened, and clinging to the false hope that her son came to save her. The truth is closing in fast, and when it finally breaks, no one inside that castle will walk away unchanged. If there is one thing we have learned about Liesl Obrecht over the years, it is that you should never count her out, even when she is locked in a cage built by a ghost.

Do you think Liesl will outsmart Cullum, or is she truly trapped this time? Drop your boldest prediction in the comments and let’s debate it!
