But wait—it gets SO MUCH WORSE! Britt Westbourne is working for Sidwell on some SECRET lab project! She doesn’t even have her medical license anymore but she’s doing SOMETHING for Sidwell that’s shady enough that he needed to lie about why she was at Wyndemere when Marco and Lucas walked in!
Britt is working on something ILLEGAL for Sidwell! And now Lucas—a DOCTOR who works at the hospital—is living in the same house where this secret operation is taking place! What happens when Lucas stumbles upon Britt’s lab? What happens when he walks into the wrong room at the wrong time and sees something he shouldn’t?!
Sidwell literally told Pascal (his new butler who is ALSO a criminal!) to “make sure Lucas doesn’t stumble upon anything he shouldn’t know about”—and then added, “Otherwise, he’ll have to be dealt with”! DEALT WITH! That’s mob speak for MURDERED! Sidwell is already planning Lucas’s death as a contingency plan!
Lucas Could Become Sidwell’s Hostage Against Sonny

If Sidwell realizes that Sonny is planning to take him out, he could kidnap Lucas and hold him hostage to force Sonny to back down!
Sidwell wants Sonny’s piers for “the final portion of Faison’s final project”! He’s desperate to get control of those piers, and he knows Sonny won’t give them up without a fight! But what if Sidwell threatens to kill Lucas unless Sonny hands over the piers?!
