Lucy Coe Crashed the Date Like a Woman With a Mission

Lucy Coe did not stumble into the Metro Court Gardens. Lucy Coe arrived. Hair done. Eyes sharp. A spoiler for Ava Jerome‘s romantic afternoon with Jenz Sidwell tucked under her arm like a designer handbag. Ava had a candle. Ava had a drink. Ava had a smile that was rapidly turning into a stress fracture across her entire face.

The second Jenz stepped away from the table, Lucy went in. She needled Ava about which one of them was actually better for Jenz. She made Ava say something out loud that Ava was supposed to think privately. Ava huffed that she was going to talk to Jenz about walking away from Deception. Mission accomplished. Lucy had what she came for.

When Jenz returned, Lucy pivoted like a professional and started asking him about an abundance of zincite crystal that had been delivered to Deception. Ava jumped in fast and told Jenz he should not have to discuss business during his leisure time. Translation. Ava knew exactly where Lucy was going with the zincite question and Ava could not let Jenz answer it. Whatever the zincite is for, Ava is in on it. The plot just thickened by three layers.

The zincite question was the entire game. Nobody else in Port Charles is asking what Jenz is doing with crates of crystal showing up at a cosmetics company. When Lucy offered to take Deception off his plate, Jenz refused. He has no intention of parting ways with the cosmetics company. Of course he does not. Whatever is happening at that company is bigger than makeup, and Lucy Coe is the one who is going to crack it wide open.

Meanwhile, Ric Lansing sauntered up and pulled Ava aside for a private conversation that Ethan Lovett clocked from behind a wall. The walls of this entire operation are full of holes. Lucy is the woman holding the flashlight.

Ava can fake-smile her way through one more dinner. Lucy Coe is going to make sure it is the last one Ava enjoys.
