LULU SPENCER’S ESCAPE WITH ROCCO IS ALREADY DOOMED

Lulu Packed the Bags Before Dante Walked In

Lulu Spencer is about to run with Rocco on General Hospital and Dante is about to have every cop in Port Charles tailing her.

Ethan walked into the house with fake passports today. Lulu thanked him and told him she had time to make her own getaway arrangements. The bags were already packed. The plan was already in motion. The only thing missing was the wheels under it.

Dante walked in next. He saw the duffels. He demanded to know what was going on. Lulu told him she was getting ready in case she had to take Rocco on the run, and Dante, who is the police commissioner, told her flat out she would not be turning his son into a fugitive. Officers were going to be assigned. Surveillance was going to be put in place. The exit she had spent the morning packing for was already being closed.

Rocco overheard the entire fight from outside the house and slipped away, upset that he was the reason his parents were tearing each other apart again.

The unhinged theory: Lulu Spencer is going to try to run anyway. Ethan is going to help her, even after Dante warned him off. The escape attempt is going to get blown. And the person who catches Lulu and Rocco mid-run is not going to be Dante. It is going to be the one person nobody saw coming.

Ethan Is the Wild Card and Lulu Does Not Know It

Watch the Ethan setup first, because Ethan is the wild card. He showed up with fake passports already in hand. He offered to make the arrangements. He told her he could move fast. Then he made himself scarce the second Dante’s car pulled into the driveway. Lulu told him no, she had time, and Ethan let her think she was in control.

She is not in control. Ethan is the one with the passport contacts. Ethan is the one with the cash. Ethan is the one who knows how to disappear. Lulu is the one packing duffels in her own living room while her ex, who happens to run the PCPD, walks through the front door and sees every bag.

That is not a getaway. That is a press release.

Dante Is Not Negotiating This Time

Dante’s reaction is the part Lulu has not thought through. He is more than a commissioner. He is Rocco’s father. He is the man who has watched Britt and Lulu both make unilateral decisions about his son and has been swallowing it since Rocco’s confession came out. Today was the day Dante stopped swallowing it. The conversation in that living room was not a fight between exes. It was a warrant being drafted in real time.

Officers are going to be on Lulu by morning. Officers are going to be on the airport. Officers are going to be on the train station. Officers are going to be on every road out of Port Charles. She is going to wake up to find that every exit she had quietly mapped is already covered.

And then she is going to try to leave anyway.

The PCPD Bumper Catches Lulu Before the Second Mile Marker

Because Lulu Spencer does not back down from a plan once she has packed for it. She is going to call Ethan. She is going to grab Rocco. She is going to head for the city limits. And the moment she does, the PCPD is going to be on her bumper before she clears the second mile marker.

The bigger problem is who else is watching. Dante summoned Cassius to his office today and told him Lulu was making plans to leave with Rocco. Cassius told the commissioner he was not helping her, but he would if she asked. That is not a denial. That is a man telling his boss out loud which side he picks if the call comes.

Britt Is About to Make the Call That Decides It

Then there is Britt. Britt called Rocco today and asked to meet right away. Britt has been carrying his confession alone for weeks. The unhinged theory says Britt is the one who quietly hands Lulu and Rocco the exit Dante is trying to close, because Britt knows the only way Rocco survives the next forty-eight hours is if he is not in Port Charles when Cullum figures out who shot him.

Bring popcorn. Lulu Spencer’s getaway plan is already half-blown, Dante is mobilizing the PCPD, Cassius is pretending to be on the right side of the badge, Ethan is sitting on a stack of fake passports, and Britt is about to make the call that decides whether Rocco runs or Rocco gets caught. By the end of this week somebody is in handcuffs and somebody is in the wind.
