Lulu Turns to Nathan for Help
Wednesday’s General Hospital spoilers tell us that Lulu turns to Nathan for help, and by Thursday, Nathan “lets his guard down” while “a duo shares a first kiss.” The show isn’t telling us who the kissing couple is, but when you look at the spoilers together, the math is starting to add up.
Lulu and Nathan have been circling each other since his miraculous return to Port Charles. They share a history through Maxie, they both love the people caught in this complicated web, and Nathan has been one of the few people Lulu can actually lean on while navigating her own recovery. If Lulu goes to Nathan for help this week and he finally lets his guard down… that first kiss suddenly makes a lot of sense.
And the timing could not be more catastrophic.

Maxie Returns February 12
Kirsten Storms officially returns as Maxie Jones on February 12, which means we are just weeks away from Maxie waking up from her coma. And here’s where things get truly heartbreaking — what if Maxie wakes up with amnesia?
Think about it. Nathan has no memory of the last seven years. If Maxie also wakes up with memory loss, she could believe she’s still married to Nathan. She wouldn’t remember their divorce, she wouldn’t remember that he “died,” and she certainly wouldn’t remember her youngest children. In Maxie’s mind, she could wake up thinking her life with Nathan is exactly where she left it.
Now imagine that scenario playing out while Lulu — her BEST FRIEND — is falling for Nathan. The betrayal wouldn’t even be intentional, but it would feel devastating all the same. Maxie would wake up confused and heartbroken, watching her best friend with the man she still believes is her husband.
Everyone Loses Here
This is the kind of soapy mess that General Hospital does best, and honestly? It tracks. Lulu has been through hell with her own recovery, and finding comfort in Nathan makes emotional sense. Nathan, for his part, has been adrift since returning with no memories of his previous life. He doesn’t remember being married to Maxie. He doesn’t remember dying in her arms. To him, Lulu is just a woman who needs his help and makes him feel something.
But when Maxie wakes up — and she WILL wake up — the fallout is going to be brutal. Will she understand that Nathan doesn’t remember their love? Will she be able to forgive Lulu for moving in on the man she still considers her husband? Or will this destroy the friendship that has been one of the show’s most enduring relationships?
Lulu makes a confession on Friday, and Rocco’s feelings are hurt the same day. Whatever is happening between Lulu and Nathan, it’s already affecting her family. And it’s only going to get worse when Maxie opens her eyes.
