General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy’s War on Sonny Tears Quartermaine Family Apart
Tracy’s campaign against Sonny puts Ned in an impossible position between supporting his mother and helping Laura. As Lulu seeks his help, Ned must choose a side in a battle that could destroy family relationships.

GENERAL HOSPITAL SHOCKER: NED CAUGHT IN FAMILY WAR AS TRACY’S VENDETTA AGAINST SONNY THREATENS TO DESTROY THE QUARTERMAINES!
Just when you thought Port Charles couldn’t get ANY more dramatic, yesterday’s episode dropped a bombshell that left me literally GASPING for air! The battle lines have been drawn, folks, and they’re cutting straight through the heart of the Quartermaine mansion!
Tracy Quartermaine has officially gone nuclear in her crusade against Sonny Corinthos, and the fallout might just obliterate EVERY family tie in her path. I mean, we all know Tracy has never been a fan of Port Charles’ most notorious mobster, but launching a full-blown referendum campaign to destroy him? That’s next-level scheming—even for her!
But here’s where things get JUICY…
Curtis Ashford marched right up to Tracy and called her out on her unholy alliance with Drew Cain and that shifty newcomer Jenz Sidwell. (And can we talk about what’s REALLY going on with Sidwell? My sources tell me there’s WAY more to his story than meets the eye, but that’s tea for another day!)
What made my jaw absolutely DROP was Curtis point-blank asking Tracy why she’s willing to risk harming Laura Collins in her vendetta against Sonny. I mean, Laura is the MAYOR, for crying out loud! She’s been nothing but good to Port Charles for decades, and this referendum could put her in an impossible position both politically and personally.
Then Ned Quartermaine walked in—talk about AWKWARD timing!—and the temperature in that room must have dropped twenty degrees. Poor Ned looked like a deer in headlights when Tracy immediately tried to rope him into her schemes. But you could see the reluctance written all over his face when she asked for his public support on this referendum campaign.
Let’s not forget that Ned is a former mayor himself, which makes his endorsement actually MEAN something in Port Charles. Tracy knows exactly what she’s doing by trying to leverage her son’s political clout. Mama always knows best, right? (WRONG!)
Because just when I thought this family drama couldn’t get any more tangled, Lulu Spencer made her move! That’s right—Laura’s daughter approached Ned for help AGAINST the referendum! Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place! The look on Ned’s face when Lulu asked for his support was pure soap opera GOLD.
I’ve been watching this show for over 20 years, and I can’t remember the last time Ned was put in such an impossible position. Blood loyalty to his fierce mama Tracy or doing what’s right by supporting Laura and Lulu? There’s NO way this ends without someone getting hurt.
Which has me wondering… is this the beginning of the end for the Quartermaine dynasty as we know it? Could Tracy’s obsession with taking down Sonny actually destroy her own family in the process?
My sources behind the scenes (and trust me, they’re RELIABLE) tell me that the fallout from Ned’s decision will be absolutely EXPLOSIVE. We’re talking family members not speaking to each other, alliances shattered, and secrets exposed that were NEVER meant to see the light of day!
Social media is already on FIRE with fans picking sides! #TeamTracy supporters are applauding her for finally standing up to Sonny’s reign over Port Charles, while #TeamLaura defenders are outraged that Tracy would put her vendetta above the well-being of the town’s beloved mayor. One fan tweeted: “If Ned betrays his own mother for the Spencers, I’ll never forgive him!” while another shot back, “Tracy’s gone too far this time—even for her!”
What makes this whole situation even MORE complicated is Drew and Sidwell’s involvement. Let’s not forget that Drew has his own reasons for wanting Sonny out of the picture, and Sidwell? Well, that man has never met an opportunity he didn’t try to exploit. With those two pulling strings behind the scenes, Tracy’s referendum has become a powder keg waiting to explode!
As for Ned? My prediction? He’ll try to play both sides—classic Quartermaine move!—and end up pleasing absolutely NO ONE. We’ve seen him attempt to balance family politics before, but the stakes have never been this high. By the time this drama plays out, the Quartermaine breakfast table might be emptier than we’ve EVER seen it.
One thing’s crystal clear: nothing in Port Charles will ever be the same again. Will Ned choose his mother or do what’s right? Will Tracy’s vendetta cost her the one thing she claims to value above all else—her family? And is Sonny already plotting his countermove against this unholy alliance?
Stay tuned, soap fans. The REAL drama is just beginning!
