Yet every last thread loops straight back to that cell, where Obrecht and Josslyn are quietly weighing the fate of countless strangers they will never even meet.

For now, the standoff is the whole ballgame. Liesl Obrecht wants to march out of Wyndemere with her son still breathing, free and clear. Josslyn wants to walk out without a massacre staining her conscience forever. Both women are completely right, and that gut-twisting collision is exactly why this corner of General Hospital is impossible to look away from.
