Happy Memorial Day From Soap Opera Magazine and a Brand New Baby Bombshell

Sawandi Wilson is about to be a dad. The General Hospital star, who plays Dr. Isaiah Gannon on the ABC soap, took to Instagram to share the joyful news that he and his wife, Anna Eilinsfelf, are expecting their first child together.

Sawandi Wilson shared a sweet video compilation of their life together since their wedding, while Anna posted a carousel of photos with the announcement caption that has fans melting. “Brando has been an only child for long enough. Baby on board, due August 2026,” her caption read.

Brando, for fans wondering, is the couple’s beloved dog and the only child they have had in their household to date. The little fur baby is about to become a big brother to a human sibling come August.

Send your warm wishes for the growing Wilson family to [email protected] and we may feature them in a future post!

Sawandi Wilson and Anna are actually approaching their second wedding anniversary later this year. The couple tied the knot on December 6, 2024, in Philadelphia surrounded by family and friends. Anna stunned in a fitted wedding gown that flared beautifully at the knees. Sawandi kept it classic in a velvet V-neck blazer, crisp white shirt, black bowtie, and black pants.

Two years and one baby announcement later, the couple is well into building their forever family.

Fans of Sawandi Wilson know him as Dr. Isaiah Gannon on General Hospital, where his character is currently navigating a complicated relationship with Portia Robinson, who is expecting a baby with her ex-husband Curtis Ashford. The real-life baby news is a welcome dose of joy for fans who have been watching Isaiah weather one of the more emotionally complex storylines on the canvas.

Soap Opera Magazine joins fans across the daytime community in sending warm congratulations to Sawandi, Anna, and big brother Brando. We cannot wait to meet the newest member of the Wilson family this August.

Happy Memorial Day, and happy growing family.
