Sonny Corinthos Issues a Warning to Michael Corinthos and We’re on the Edge of Our Seats on Friday’s Intense GH Spoilers
Sonny Corinthos warns Michael Corinthos on Friday’s GH, and with the Drew shooting case heating up, this conversation is going to be TENSE!
SONNY CORINTHOS HAS WORDS FOR MICHAEL CORINTHOS AND THE DREW SHOOTING CASE IS CLOSING IN
TL;DR: Sonny Corinthos issues a warning to Michael Corinthos on Friday’s General Hospital, and given everything we know about the Drew shooting, this conversation is going to be LOADED. Plus, Kristina gets caught off guard, Alexis has a new strategy, and Laura gets new orders.
Sonny Corinthos Needs to Have a Word With His Son
Happy 2026, General Hospital fans! Friday’s episode is kicking off the new year with Sonny Corinthos issuing a warning to Michael Corinthos, and given everything that’s been going down with the Drew shooting case, we need to talk about what this could mean.
Here’s the situation: Michael was parked outside Drew’s house the night the congressman got two bullets in his back. Tracy saw him there right before she found Drew bleeding on the floor. Michael has been lying, Jacinda has been providing him with a fake alibi, and Tracy has been perjuring herself in court to protect him. Oh, and Willow flat out told Michael she KNOWS he framed her. So when Sonny decides it’s time to issue a warning? This is going to be intense.

What Does Sonny Corinthos Know?
The million dollar question is what exactly prompted this warning. Sonny Corinthos has been busy dealing with Sidwell, protecting his territory, and charming Justine, but he’s not oblivious to what’s happening with his son. Kristina already told him that Alexis is defending Willow and looking at Michael as a suspect. The walls are closing in, and Sonny can probably see the writing on said walls.
Maurice Benard and Chad Duell always deliver when Sonny and Michael have these intense father-son conversations. Sonny has spent years trying to keep his children out of the mob life, but Michael has managed to get himself into legal trouble all on his own. Shooting a congressman and framing your ex-wife for it isn’t exactly keeping a low profile.
The warning could be about laying low, getting his story straight, or maybe Sonny Corinthos has heard something through the grapevine that makes him think the investigation is about to blow up in Michael’s face. Either way, Friday’s conversation is going to be must-watch television.
Kristina Gets Caught Off Guard
Speaking of the Corinthos family, Kristina finds herself caught off guard on Friday. Kristina has been playing messenger between her parents, updating Sonny on Alexis’s legal strategy and generally being caught in the middle of this whole mess.
What catches her off guard could be related to the Michael situation, or it could be something else entirely. Kristina has a lot going on between her family drama and her own personal life. But given that every other spoiler on Friday is connected to the Drew shooting case, we’re betting Kristina gets blindsided by some information about her brother.
Alexis Davis Deploys a New Strategy
Meanwhile, Alexis Davis decides it’s time to deploy a new strategy in Willow’s defense. Alexis has been systematically going through suspects, and she’s already poked holes in Portia’s alibi. Now she’s got something new up her sleeve, and given how this trial has been going, it’s probably going to shake things up.
Alexis knows Michael is a viable suspect. She knows the PCPD rushed to judgment on Willow. And she’s not afraid to put the entire investigation on trial to prove her client’s innocence. Whatever this new strategy is, it’s going to make someone very uncomfortable, and our money is on that someone being Michael.
Dante Meets With Justine
In related news, Dante takes a meeting with Justine on Friday. Justine has been the prosecutor on Willow’s case and has also been getting cozy with Sonny at various Port Charles establishments. Dante meeting with her could be about the case, or it could be about something else Justine has been working on.
Either way, Dante is in an awkward position. His brother Michael is looking increasingly guilty, Chase basically torpedoed his own career defending Willow on the stand, and Dante has been accused of steering the investigation away from Michael. This meeting with Justine could get very interesting very fast.
Laura Gets New Orders
Finally, someone issues Laura new orders on Friday. Laura has been dealing with Sidwell’s blackmail ever since he found Dalton’s body in her car trunk. She’s been doing his bidding while Sonny and Jason work on a plan to take him down, but who knows what Sidwell wants now.
Laura being at Sidwell’s mercy is uncomfortable for everyone, especially Laura. She’s the mayor of Port Charles, not someone’s puppet. But until Sonny can neutralize the Sidwell threat, she’s stuck following orders and hoping it doesn’t destroy her career or her freedom.
