GH’s Tabyana Ali Dishes On Trina’s Stalker, Family Fallout, And Love Life
GH’s Tabyana Ali says everyone knows who is stalking Trina but her, and she teases Trina’s family fallout, love life, and music career.
TABYANA ALI IS KEPT IN THE DARK ABOUT TRINA’S STALKER
TL;DR: Tabyana Ali, who plays Trina Robinson on GH, told Michael Fairman’s podcast that everyone behind the scenes knows who is stalking Trina except her. She also teased Trina’s family fallout, love life, and music career, plus a three-word forecast for what’s ahead.

The Stalker Secret Everyone Else Is Keeping
Tabyana Ali says GH‘s cast and crew are guarding the biggest mystery in Port Charles like a state secret: everybody knows who is stalking Trina Robinson except the actress who plays her. The idea is to keep her as clueless as Trina herself.
She brushes off the early suspects, Quinn and Simon, as decoys, since any soap fan knows the setup comes before the reveal. As for who she’d secretly love it to be, her wish is purely sentimental: someone she misses seeing around the studio.

Trina’s Temper Returns And Curtis Is At The Heart Of It
Tabyana Ali calls Trina’s explosion in the Quartermaine living room, filmed with Amanda Setton‘s Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Jane Elliot‘s Tracy Quartermaine, the return of Trina’s old fire. The rage comes from devotion to her dad and family plus a sting of betrayal, and she counts it among the best work she has done. She even tried giving Setton the silent treatment to get into character, then wrote her a note admitting she hated it.
The fallout over Curtis Ashford is where things get tangled. Trina sees two truths at once: Curtis was protecting his family, but he answers for his own choices, and Brook Lynn doesn’t carry that blame. Since the interview, Trina has learned her father was hurt in the Pentonville attack and gone to see him, exactly the keep-him-safe mode her portrayer predicted. She has also apologized to Jordan Ashford for being so harsh, which set them on healthier footing.
Kai, Drew, And A Love Story On The Rise
On the romance front, Tabyana describes Trina and Kai Taylor, played by Jens Austin Astrup, as enemies-to-lovers with real care underneath, and thinks a first declaration of love could be around the corner as Kai backs her music career. She doesn’t expect Kai to take Drew Cain‘s job offer, and if he did, she doubts Trina could trust him again. Drew, meanwhile, lingers in the back of Trina’s mind with him up and walking again.
She’s also open to a romantic wrinkle between Gio Palmieri and Trina, though she admits it would be messy with Emma Scorpio-Drake and Kai in the picture. Her dream is a four-way tangle sparked by misunderstandings or getting stranded together.

Josslyn, Ava, And A Singer In The Making
Another wish: Trina getting swept into WSB trouble alongside Josslyn Jacks, played by Eden McCoy, a duo of sidekicks watching each other’s backs. Trina also still works part-time at Ava Jerome‘s gallery, and Tabyana would love to see the art and the music combine.
Off screen, Tabyana Ali’s single “Pray” began as a poem she wrote this year, and she turned it into a song with a team of co-writers before it debuted on the show.
Trina’s Road Looks Anything But Smooth
Tabyana Ali sums up Trina’s next chapter in three words: “suspicious, spontaneous, and dangerous.” That’s quite a forecast for a young woman who has barely caught a break.
