Michael has no idea Willow Tait is about to send Anna after him over a shooting investigation he wasn’t even involved in the way she’s implying, using the actual power of her government office to make it happen. This isn’t a personal threat between two exes anymore, it’s an official request coming from a sitting congresswoman with real institutional backing, and that distinction matters more than people realize.

If Anna reopens that case and it somehow lands anywhere near Michael, custody isn’t a fight he wins with a good lawyer sitting across the table, it’s a fight he simply loses because she weaponized her job title before he even knew she’d already started moving against him in the first place, quietly and from a very considerable distance away, without lifting a single finger.

This Is Worse Than a Direct Attack

Willow Tait built an entire plan where she never once has to raise her voice at anyone, because her office is already quietly doing every bit of the damage she actually needs it to do for her.
