WILLOW TAIT AND DREW CAIN ARE THE MOST INSUFFERABLE COUPLE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL AND IT’S NOT EVEN CLOSE

TL;DR: General Hospital is making us watch Willow Tait and Drew Cain attempt to walk down the aisle AGAIN today, and we need to talk about how absolutely INSUFFERABLE these two have become. This is the same woman who kidnapped a baby and the same man who abandoned his daughter the night her mother died. These two aren’t star-crossed lovers—they’re a cautionary tale!

Drew Cain Abandoned Scout the Night Sam McCall DIED

Let’s start with something that should disqualify Drew Cain from ever being considered a romantic hero: on the night Sam McCall tragically died, Drew abandoned their daughter Scout to go sleep with Willow. Scout was ALONE and suffered a nightmare while her father was too busy hooking up with his nephew’s wife to comfort his grieving child. That’s not a man struggling with complicated feelings—that’s a man who prioritizes his libido over his daughter’s welfare during the worst night of her life.

And yet Drew Cain walks around Port Charles acting like he’s God’s gift to wrongly accused women. Nina Reeves herself called out his “savior complex,” and when NINA is the voice of reason about your behavior, you’ve achieved something truly remarkable in the realm of terrible life choices.

Drew proposed to Willow Tait by telling her that marrying him would “make a statement to the jury.” Nothing says true love quite like strategizing your wedding for maximum legal impact! This man literally caused Ned Quartermaine to have a heart attack and LEFT HIM STRANDED, stole Quartermaine family heirlooms, and blackmailed Portia Robinson. But sure, he’s the hero of this story.

Willow Tait KIDNAPPED A BABY And We’re Supposed To Root For Her?

Can we please discuss the fact that Willow Tait literally kidnapped Daisy—Michael and Sasha’s newborn daughter—wandered around the Quartermaine estate with her, and then returned her just to gaslight Michael and Sasha? This wasn’t a momentary lapse in judgment. Willow STALKED Sasha for weeks, gaslit her repeatedly, and ultimately ran Sasha and Daisy out of town with her schemes and deception.

This is the same woman who slapped Lucas Jones, violated custody orders to see Wiley, and is currently scheming with Drew to frame Michael for Drew’s shooting. But every time Willow appears on screen, she’s crying about how unfair everything is and how she just wants her children back. Ma’am, you KIDNAPPED someone else’s child! The audacity is truly astronomical.

And let’s not forget that Willow’s airtight alibi for the night Drew was shot is literally “I was sad and drove around crying.” That’s it. That’s the alibi. Meanwhile, she remained silent while Nina gave a false alibi for them both—obstruction of justice, anyone?

This Is Their SECOND Wedding Attempt Because the First One Imploded

Here’s the truly delicious part: today’s ceremony on General Hospital is actually Drew and Willow’s SECOND attempt at getting married! The first wedding on July 28th imploded spectacularly when Willow walked down the aisle and asked Drew, “Did you sleep with my mother?” right there at the altar. She then screamed that every time she listened to him and took his advice, she gave Michael more ammunition against her. She realized Michael was RIGHT about Drew and ran out of the church!

But did that moment of clarity stick? Of course not! After Drew got shot, Willow crawled right back to him because she “needs strong allies” to get her kids back. So romantic! Nothing says eternal love like “I need you for strategic purposes after I publicly humiliated you at our wedding.”

They’re Getting Married at THANKSGIVING Dinner

As if this couple couldn’t get more obnoxious, Drew invited Nina, Obrecht, and Ava to his place for Thanksgiving and teased that “dessert will be spectacular.” The spectacular dessert? Watching these two finally complete their cursed union while the turkey gets cold.

The Quartermaine Thanksgiving curse is LEGENDARY, and Drew isn’t even allowed to use the Quartermaine name anymore after Tracy served him with a cease and desist! Monica banished him from the property. His own twin brother Jason called him “slime” and “poison.” Tracy called him a “malignant, soulless weasel.” But sure, let’s celebrate this man’s wedding!
