WILLOW TAIT HAS TOO MANY SKELETONS TO PLAY THIS GAME

TL;DR: GH’s Willow Tait is suing Lulu Spencer, and the paperwork stars a surprise attorney general, a misspelled last name, and a nickname where a legal name belongs. Willow has more skeletons than a Halloween aisle, so is this lawsuit a power move or a match to her own house? Port Charles needs a proofreader, and fans of General Hospital need popcorn.

Monet Mitchell Is The Attorney General And Nobody Mentioned It

Somebody in Port Charles has been sitting on the biggest résumé secret in daytime. Monet Mitchell is listed on the lawsuit as the Attorney General of the State of New York, a title nobody brought up while she was busy being the new girl at Miller & Davis. Willow Tait now has the top lawyer in the whole state working her grudge against a reporter, and the only thing missing is a marching band. Either that is the flex of the century or the most expensive favor in daytime history.

Port Charles also has a spectacular talent for not asking obvious questions. Alexis Davis recommended her, Chase hired her to protect his custody rights, and Curtis Ashford shook on an appeal, and not one of them said, “Wait, isn’t that the attorney general?” Even Justine Turner, who works in the DA’s office, never blinked. By Monet’s own account, her big sister Jordan Ashford always saw her as the little sister who couldn’t do anything right, which is a bold read on the woman running the state’s legal department.

The simplest explanation may be the cheapest one, and nobody proofread this thing. If the attorney general really signed off on it, the State of New York has a spelling problem, and if she did not, Port Charles has a bigger one.

The Paperwork Needs A Proofreader More Than A Process Server

The caption says Tait and the body flips to Tate, so the lawsuit cannot agree on who is suing. That is a neat trick for a document labeled “Verified,” because the one thing nobody verified was the spelling. The respondent fares no better. Her legal name is Lesley Lu Spencer, yet the filing goes with the nickname, like a court on a first-name basis with Port Charles. A process server had to find whoever answers to “Lulu” when yelled across Bobbie’s.

The rest of the page is no kinder. “Verified Law Suit” appears as two words, the case is filed in the “County of Port Charles,” and the page cuts off at “Nature of the Action,” which is the one part we actually wanted to read. Port Charles got promoted to a county, so everybody is moving up this week.

Willow’s Closet Has Run Out Of Hangers

Willow Tait has no business suing anybody for exposing her, because the list of things she has done is longer than the lawsuit. She shot Drew Cain, walked away on double jeopardy, and then admitted to Britt Westbourne that Jenz Sidwelldid not have to twist her arm to drug him.

Britt told her to issue a denial and leave it there, and Willow sued anyway. Chase pushed her to fight, telling her it was for both of them, and he happens to share a lawyer with the plaintiff, which is cozy. Then there is Joe Fitzpatrick, who has already floated that she could be mixed up in Jack Brennan’s disappearance.

Lulu Has Receipts And Also A Borrowed Badge

Lulu Spencer got here by bending the rules, and her best evidence is only as good as her worst shortcut. She swiped a hospital badge, put on scrubs, and sneaked into Sidwell’s room to record him while he was heavily drugged, and he now says he remembers none of it. Drew says she got his medical waiver under false pretenses, and when Dante Falconeri told her to retract the story, she refused and promised a follow-up.

Her receipts are real, though. Two hospital colleagues tied Drew’s locked-in syndrome to Jack Brennan’s, and a former WSB agent confirmed a WSB cocktail can cause exactly that. Could a lawsuit be the best thing that ever happened to Lulu? Imagine Willow Tait explaining under oath why a woman with a nurse’s training kept a “stroke” patient at home, while Drew’s plan to lie for her only works until Sidwell or Britt says otherwise.

Typos can be amended. Skeletons cannot.

Is Willow playing with fire, or will Lulu be the one who gets burned? Drop your pick in the comments below, we’re dying to talk about this!

Spell Check Is The Least Of Her Worries

Willow Tait filed a lawsuit that argues with its own spelling, and she did it against the one woman in town who owns a recording and a grudge. Will Lulu ultimately bring her down despite this messy, messy paperwork, or does a town that never checks anyone’s credentials wave it all through?

Tell us on our Facebook page whether Willow has the nerve or only the paperwork.
