Brooke Hands Donna the Secret

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, October 22 bring Donna Logan home hoping her sisters will end their feud, and the buzz says she walks right into a secret. Brooke Logan is said to catch Donna off guard with big news: she went to Bill Spencer, and he agreed to talk Katie into backing off Forrester Creations.

Donna may be stunned that Bill would lift a finger for Forrester, and uneasy about Brooke and Bill’s history. Brooke may insist she told Bill to keep it between them. Good luck with that. This week’s Bold and the Beautiful spoilers keep Donna on screen Friday too, which gives her a whole day to decide what to do with what she knows.

This is not a small secret. Donna came home on a peace mission between Brooke and Katie, wanting her sisters to make up. Now the one thing that could blow up that peace is sitting in her lap.

Who Knows What Brooke Did

Here is the scorecard, starting with Brooke, who knows because she asked. On Tuesday, October 20, she told Bill that Katie had “declared war. She’s out to get me.”

On Wednesday she called Katie’s campaign revenge for what happened between her and Bill in Aspen, touched his arm and got her promise: “I’ll talk to Katie.”

Bill knows, and he already acted. Later that day he told Katie Logan Spencer they should be gracious toward Forrester, and Katie shot back, “Is my husband in there? What is this all about?” He did not tell her Brooke put him up to it.

Katie does not know, but she smells something. Nothing says Brooke has told her own husband, Ridge Forrester, that she went to his old rival for help. And if the spoilers hold, Donna makes three. That is one too many for any secret in this family.

Donna Logan Has Kept a Family Secret Before

Here is the part nobody is talking about. Donna has been here. In June, when Hope Logan Spencer made her move to Katie’s company, Donna kept quiet about it, and Eric Forrester was gutted by her silence. In the same blowup, Brooke showed Donna the door. That secret cost her.

She also has a peacemaker’s record. In January she called herself neutral “like the country of Switzerland.”

In July she stood with Brooke and told Katie, “You undermined our entire family, Katie!” And on October 16, Katie quoted her to send Brooke away: “What was it that Donna said? You can’t just hug it out.”

Read that again. Katie still listens to Donna Logan. That is exactly what makes her the most dangerous person to hand this secret to.

Will Donna Tell Katie That Brooke Went to Bill on Bold and the Beautiful?

Nobody is predicting it. The spoiler buzz points at Bill: one slip that Brooke put him up to this, and Katie goes over the edge. Others think Katie simply works it out. Friday’s preview says Katie’s intensity about Brooke continues, so she is not letting go.

But picture the road between the sisters. If Donna follows her hope and goes to Katie to make peace, she carries Brooke’s secret straight into Katie’s office. Can she sit across from the sister who still quotes her and say nothing? My gut tells me Donna keeps it for now, because she knows what the last secret cost her. If I know these writers, though, the truth comes out in the worst possible room.

Brooke and Bill’s History Is Why This Stings

Katie has every reason to flinch at Brooke and Bill in one sentence. Brooke’s Aspen memory is a hot air balloon ride Katie herself set up for them years ago. Bill kissed Brooke in 2012 and slept with her in 2013 while he was married to Katie. In 2016 he kissed her and tried to start an affair, again while married to Katie.

He married Brooke in 2017, the marriage was annulled in 2018, and Brooke kissed him in 2020. So when Brooke went over her sister’s head, straight to Bill, she reopened the oldest wound in the family.

Katie has already heard Bill’s push to ease up on Forrester, and she is asking questions. Donna knows every chapter of that history, which is why her worry is the right one.
