Monday’s episode ended with Steffy giving in to Carter Walton and agreeing to bury their drunken night in the CEO office. Ridge Forrester demanded answers, got a cover story, and left none the wiser. Tuesday hands Ridge a shiny distraction: a youth line pitch from RJ Forrester with Electra Forrester as its face, while Katie Logan Spencer tightens her watch on Melissa “Miss” Dylan and Will Spencer.

Rewind one week. Steffy flew home from Monaco raging at John “Finn” Finnegan over Sheila, and Carter was nursing his own wound after Daphne Rose Walton left for Paris. On August 17 they drank together in the Forrester Creations office and got very close. Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: RJ Sells Ridge a Youth Line With Electra Out Front

Tuesday gives Ridge something he actually wants to hear. RJ already showed his sketches to Eric Forrester and Zende on August 20, and now he takes the whole package to his father. The pitch is a youth line with Electra as the face of it, the same Electra who slammed the door on Will for good last week. Ridge just declared war on the Spencers, so a Forrester face with no Spencer baggage is catnip for him.

Here is the twist nobody at that table will say out loud. RJ is Ridge’s son with Brooke, but by blood he is a Marone, since Ridge’s biological father is Massimo Marone. Electra is a Forrester by blood, Eric’s grand-niece through his brother John’s side. So the line meant to carry the Forrester name forward is pitched by the heir with no Forrester DNA, built around the cousin who has it. Ridge will be too busy admiring sketches to hear the bomb ticking down the hall.

Does Ridge Find Out About Steffy and Carter This Week?

Not on Tuesday. As of Monday’s episode Ridge has a cover story and no reason to doubt it, and Friday, August 28 is when the secret comes to a head. What sets this affair apart is who carries the risk. Carter reconciled with Daphne four days ago, Daphne cannot conceive naturally after the diagnosis she got in July, and she has been holding Steffy and Finn up as the marriage she wants. Carter is the one who begged for silence, because he knows exactly which house burns first.

Steffy has done this before. In 2017 she slept with Bill Spencer, sat on it for months, and it still blew up her marriage the following year. If I know these writers, the confession is coming, and my gut says Steffy blurts out that she cheated without ever saying Carter’s name. That would protect Daphne for exactly as long as it takes Finn to ask one follow-up question.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Circles Dylan and Will

Across town, Monday ended with Will and Dylan showering at the beach house and spending the night together. Katie takes one look on Tuesday and her suspicion of Dylan hardens into alarm. Electra already warned Dylan off Will back in July, and Dylan ignored her. Now Will’s mother is the one circling.

Katie’s timing is about to get worse. On Thursday, August 27, Darcy Dylan arrives, played by Kelly Sullivan, and she is Dylan’s mother. Don’t be surprised if Katie’s next insult about Dylan lands in front of Darcy, because these writers never bring in a mother without a fight waiting.
