It’s Time for The Bold and the Beautiful to End the Hope/Liam/Steffy Love Triangle for Good

It’s Time for The Bold and the Beautiful to End the Hope/Liam/Steffy Love Triangle for Good

The CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful has featured a drawn-out love triangle between the characters Hope Logan, Liam Spencer and Steffy Forrester for well over a decade now. This tumultuous romantic saga has constantly kept viewers guessing about who Liam will ultimately choose to spend his life with. But after years of recycled storylines and no definitive resolution, it is long past time for this indecisive back and forth to finally come to a proper end.

The origins of this love triangle trace back to when Steffy took an interest in Hope’s boyfriend at the time, Oliver Jones. This marked the beginning of the rivalry between these two young women as they competed for Liam’s affection.

Steffy’s obsession with Liam kicked into high gear when she orchestrated an impromptu wedding with him in Aspen, locking Hope out from reaching Liam in time. This established a frustrating pattern for fans, of Liam flip-flopping between Steffy and Hope, unable to firmly commit to either one.

Over the years, Liam has proposed marriage to both Hope and Steffy multiple times. He is constantly contradicting himself by declaring each woman to be the love of his life. Just when it seems he has finally made his choice, circumstances change and Liam’s feelings waver yet again.

After marrying Steffy and having a child with her, Liam later left Steffy upon learning she had slept with his father, Bill Spencer. He subsequently went back to Hope, proposing to her next. However, after Hope’s wedding was interrupted by the news of Steffy’s pregnancy, Liam ultimately returned to Steffy to raise their baby together as a family.

This constant back and forth over more than a decade has inflicted emotional damage on all three central characters. Hope has shown desperation at times, pathetically clinging to the idea of a future with the perpetually wavering Liam. Meanwhile, Steffy has become obsessed with competing against Hope for Liam’s affections, using manipulations and schemes to try to win him back.

As for Liam, his credibility as a sincere romantic lead has suffered greatly due to making heartfelt promises and proposals to both women, only to break them time and time again. He comes across as fickle and indecisive, saying whatever each woman wants to hear in the moment.

Now, with so much history behind this longtime love triangle, the time has finally come to give it a proper, definitive ending. Liam owes it to both Steffy and Hope to make one clear, final choice and stick to it, no more flip-flopping or mixed signals. This is the only way to wrap up the debate over who Liam loves most, while allowing all three characters to finally evolve beyond this tired plot device.

Perhaps this complicated romantic saga between Hope, Liam and Steffy has simply run its course. After so many weddings, breakups, makeups and recycled storylines, even the most loyal B&B viewers are ready for a fresh direction. The Bold and the Beautiful has the chance to surprise fans by finally putting this love triangle to rest for good. Then explore intriguing new stories as Hope, Liam and Steffy at last move forward from this exhausting chapter in their lives.

The time has come for Liam to make his final decision once and for all, freeing Hope and Steffy from the damaging grip of this perpetual triangle. Both women deserve the chance to forge empowered new identities and rediscover their self-worth outside of pining for Liam’s affection.

After frustrating fans for so long, The Bold and the Beautiful owes its loyal audience a satisfying, conclusive ending to this decades-long debate over Liam’s heart. Let us finally know, unambiguously, where Liam’s heart truly lies. Then set Hope and Steffy free to pursue new relationships and romantic possibilities without Liam’s shadow looming over them.

It’s time to wrap up this melodramatic saga for good and send a message that no woman should have to beg and fight endlessly for a man’s wavering attention and commitment. Hope and Steffy deserve so much better. And bold storytelling would give it to them.

No,Steffy fans weren’t frustrated over lope.Steffy dumped him and handed him over to Hope. They were frustrated that Steffy wasn’t allowed to move on and find someone new.We didn’t want Liam for her since at least the IVY debacle. For some, like me, since he let her take the fall for his screw ups and Stephanie had to slap the truth out of him..I actually was furious that they broke the hottest couple on daytime, Steffy and Bill,up to waste her on worthless Liam, and Bill on Brooke.
Who liam loves?Himself. He’s cruel and humiliating with the women.Liam has never told hope that he never chose her that steffy has been choosing hope for Liam for years. Hope has been in competition and fighting for liam by herself and has always assumed steffy was doing the same when she hasn’t been.Hope has always been the one who has kept the triangle going. Steffy gives liam to hope then stays out of their business. Liam when he’s with hope ignores steffy and when he’s with steffy ignores hope. The difference is hope and her family keep harassing Liam until he opens that door to her. Only hope contacts married people on their honeymoon. Liam knew where hope was in Milan and never contacted her but he was the first thing she asked about on her return even though he was married.Steffy was t even around when Liam and hope couldn’t make their relationship work.Steffy quite clearly chose herself several times for years. Liam kept asking was sure and Liam was unhappy that steffy was going to marry Bill so he hadn’t moved on. Liam showed up to steffys house after his marriage, before Steffys motorcycle ride, and kept complaining steffy wasn’t talking to him so Liam hadn’t moved on. His wife had to beg him to leave Finn and steffy alone. When liam was living with steffy, she didn’t care about what liam was doing and never tried to keep him and hope apart.Nobody has ever told hope the truth, she’s been fighting for Liam against herself. First marriage, steffy signed annulment papers in Aspen and Liam ripped them up, Brooke found out and didn’t tell hope a thing. Day divorce was to become final, Liam invited steffy over for wine with candles lit, steffy told Liam to marry hope. All steffy had to do was have sex with him and there would have been no divorce, liam told bill that he didn’t choose , steffy did. In Italy, Liam didn’t know what to do, steffy told him to marry hope. Liam at the coffee house on his first day on his return from his honeymoon asked steffy why did she tell him to marry her. Steffy told him it doesn’t matter after Liam told steffy he loved her. Second marriage, steffy packed her bags and called hope and told her to come over. Steffy ended the marriage and told Liam she was moving to Paris and cut off all contact with Liam , never answered his calls. Steffy finally called him on July 4 then later she imed him she’d signed the annulment papers. Liam still was asking was she sure. Third marriage, steffy let him believe she was going to marry Bill. Steffy then told Liam she wasn’t an option and didn’t marry anybody. Liam kept asking was she sure. Liam was supposed to visit Kelly but asked Amelia when was steffy going to be home. Steffy time Liam that he didn’t need her to be there to see his child. Liam whined that he and steffy lost their connection. After he annulled his marriage with hope, he lived with steffy and neither made a move in the other. When hope came over, steffy always left the room to let them talk alone contrast that with how hope never allowed steffy and Liam when they were still married a chance to talk much less alone. The problem is everyone except hope knows that steffy has continuously stepped aside but hope things shes battled and won.
