Katie Logan rushed to the Forrester mansion to do damage control after Will Spencer‘s fist found Eric Forrester‘s face instead of RJ Forrester‘s. She apologized, and unlike most people on this show, she actually meant it. Her son is sick over what happened, she said, and could everyone please stop trying to start a war.

Eric wasn’t interested in an apology. He wanted a villain, and he’d already cast the role: “degenerate,” same title he slapped on Bill decades ago. Katie got the door pointed out to her instead of a thank-you for showing up at all.

Enter Brooke Logan, stage left, and not to back up her own sister. She told Katie she started this whole war. Then, without so much as a dramatic pause for effect, she delivered the real headline: Katie sold her soul to the Spencers, and she’s out of the family, effective immediately, no meeting required.

Not a flicker of hesitation. Which tracks, because Brooke Logan has never once paused before torching a family over a man. She’s usually the one doing the torching, not handing down the sentence.

Selective Memory Is a Powerful Drug

Let’s talk about who’s actually delivering this verdict, shall we? This is the same Brooke Logan who slept with her own sister’s husband, repeatedly, while Katie was drowning in postpartum depression and needed her family more than she’d ever needed anything in her life. Funny how that history didn’t come up once in that living room today.

Katie didn’t sell her soul to anybody. She built a life with a Spencer man who was actually, legally, emotionally hers. Brooke built her entire personal brand on loving the men attached to other women, and now she’s handing out excommunications like she’s earned a gavel and a robe.

The Family That Forgives Selectively

Nobody in that mansion so much as blinked. Not Eric, who’s known this woman for decades. Not Ridge, who’s lived through the receipts personally. They let Brooke Logan stand there and rewrite the family’s entire moral hierarchy in real time.

That’s the real trick here: Brooke gets to reinvent herself every single time it’s convenient, and Katie doesn’t get that same grace even once. Rigged doesn’t begin to cover it.

Whose Soul Actually Needed Selling

Somebody who’s spent years circling both Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester probably shouldn’t be the one drawing family loyalty lines, and yet here we are. Brooke crowned herself judge, jury, and family historian in one afternoon, and not a single Forrester in that room thought to check her math.
