The Bold and the Beautiful
GIRL, MOVE ON! B&B’s Brooke Logan Is Still Playing the Victim Over Hope’s Success Weeks Later
Brooke Logan is still calling Hope’s success a betrayal weeks later on B&B, and honestly, someone needs to say something about it.
BROOKE LOGAN CALLS IT BETRAYAL, BUT HOPE LOGAN SIMPLY GREW UP AND BUILT SOMETHING OF HER OWN
Brooke Logan is still calling it betrayal on Bold and the Beautiful, weeks after her daughter simply built a business without her. At some point, this stops being hurt and starts being a grudge.
Brooke Is Still Stuck on Something That Happened Weeks Ago
Brooke Logan sat in Ridge‘s office today acting like she only found out about Hope’s new venture yesterday, telling him it hurts to know her daughter and sister betrayed her. She repeated that she’s never felt so betrayed, said the Hopeshe raised would never stab her in the back, and topped it off with how much she misses her, all while sitting in the middle of a fresh makeout session with Ridge like nothing was wrong. This is not new information. Hope’s business move happened weeks ago, and Brooke is still nursing this grudge like it occurred this morning.
Meanwhile, across town, Hope was at Bikini telling Deacon she only wishes her mom could be excited for her instead of hurt. Deacon, doing more emotional labor in one conversation than Brooke has managed in weeks, reminded her this was business, not betrayal, and that it was about Hope’s career, nothing personal aimed at Brooke at all.
Think Brooke ever gets over this, or is she holding onto it forever? Send your theory to amber@soapoperamagazine.com, we’re dying to hear it.
Growing Up Is Not the Same Thing as Stabbing Someone in the Back
Let’s call this what it actually is. Hope Logan built something with her own name on it, working with Katie instead of running every decision through her mother first, and that is called being an adult, not committing a crime. One industry take already called out Brooke’s reaction as one of the more dramatic overcorrections this season. Brooke Logan keeps using the word betrayal like Hope robbed a bank instead of starting a business she’s actually proud of, one Deacon himself openly admires.
Brooke raised a daughter who grew up, spread her wings, and decided to fly toward her own success instead of staying tucked under her mother’s shadow forever. That is supposed to be the goal, the entire point of raising a kid who can eventually stand on her own. Instead, Brooke is treating her daughter’s independence like a personal attack, which says a whole lot more about Brooke’s need for control than it does about anything Hope actually did.
Deacon Is Doing More Reassuring Than Brooke Is Doing Parenting
Here’s the part that should really sting. Deacon Sharpe, who isn’t even Hope’s parent, spent his entire conversation building her up, telling her Brooke will eventually be proud and that she and Deke are building their own legacy worth celebrating. Brooke Logan, the actual mother in this scenario, spent her conversation wallowing in her own hurt feelings instead of picking up the phone to talk to her daughter directly.
Hope even told Deacon she didn’t want him getting stuck in the middle, which is a kindness Brooke has not extended to anyone in this entire situation. Brooke would rather vent to Ridge about her feelings than have an actual conversation with the daughter she claims to miss so much, a daughter who is, notably, still very reachable by phone.
How Long Is Brooke Logan Going to Milk This?
Brooke had weeks to process this on Bold and the Beautiful and instead showed up today still repeating the word betrayal like it’s fresh news, still framing her daughter’s success as some kind of personal wound. At some point, missing your daughter and refusing to pick up the phone and tell her that are two very different things, and Brooke Logan needs to figure out which one she’s actually choosing.

Somebody Needs to Sit Brooke Down
Brooke Logan is still treating her daughter’s success like a wound weeks later, and today proved she’d rather vent to Ridge than actually talk to Hope. Growing up and moving on with her own career was never a betrayal, and it’s long past time Brooke started acting like she knows that.
