That is not a concerned sister. That is a woman who cannot stand the idea that someone in her family is doing something without her permission.

Brooke accused Katie of exploiting Eric Forrester and stealing his designs. She called her unethical. The Problem With Brooke’s Argument

Here is the part Brooke Logan does not want anyone to say out loud: she has no case. Eric designed those pieces for Katie’s company. He was excited about it. He was engaged and energized and working with purpose for the first time in what felt like forever. Nobody held a gun to that man’s head. Nobody tricked him into sketching. He chose to collaborate with Katie because Katie saw value in him when Ridge Forrester was too busy running Forrester Creations to notice his own father was fading into the background.

Brooke’s real problem is not the designs. It never was. Her real problem is that Katie did something bold without asking for Brooke’s blessing first, and that is simply not how the Logan family hierarchy has ever worked. Brooke is the eldest. Brooke is the one who married Ridge. Brooke is the one who has always been at the center of every room she walks into, and the idea that Katie could build something of her own, with the Logan name on the door, without Brooke’s stamp of approval, is the thing that is actually keeping her up at night.

Katie Finally Said What Needed to Be Said

Katie told her sister the world does not revolve around her. Six words. Simple. Devastating. And roughly twenty years overdue.

Katie has spent the better part of her adult life standing in Brooke’s shadow. She has watched Brooke take her husband. She has watched Brooke get the fairy tale while she picked up the pieces. She has been the responsible one, the quiet one, the Logan sister who showed up and did the work and never got the standing ovation. And now, for the first time, Katie has something that belongs entirely to her. A company. A vision. A name on the building that she shares by birthright, not by Brooke’s generosity.

And Brooke Logan showed up to take that from her too.

Katie said she has finally found her voice and she is not backing down. She said she will not be shamed into quitting. She looked Brooke dead in the eye and refused to flinch. That is not a woman acting like Bill. That is a woman who finally realized she does not need her big sister’s permission to exist in the fashion world. And the fact that Brooke compared her to Bill tells you everything you need to know. She does not see a businesswoman. She sees a little sister who got too big for her britches.

The Warning Brooke Should Have Heard

Brooke warned Katie that the day of reckoning is coming. That she will run out of Eric’s designs and have nobody left to steal from. But the real reckoning is not coming for Katie.
