The Bold and the Beautiful
NO WAY THIS WORKS! B&B’s Carter Walton Really Thinks Nobody Will Look Into His Embryo Transfer Story!
Carter Walton thinks nobody will check his embryo transfer story on Bold and the Beautiful, but real transfers need appointments and contracts.
CARTER WALTON CAN FOOL DAPHNE BUT NEVER FINN
TL;DR: B&B’s Carter Walton wants everyone to believe an embryo transfer already happened, but real transfers come with appointments, medications and contracts, and Finn is a doctor who is not going to be fooled.

Carter Wants Daphne Told It Happened Today
Carter Walton is demanding that Daphne Rose hear that an embryo transfer has already taken place, as if a transfer is something you announce instead of something you actually do. He told Steffy Forrester that “today’s the day” and that Daphne needs to be told the embryo was transferred. Steffy called the plan crazy, reminded him that he is not the one who is pregnant, and asked what, exactly, he is sacrificing. His answer was that they’ll find a doctor and don’t have time to worry about details.
Steffy knows the details are the entire story. She raised the timeline, pointing out they’ll have to say the baby came early and that people will figure this out, and Carter answered with a vague promise of help. A man who believes a baby will arrive on the date he picked, with a medical team he has not named, isn’t planning. He’s hoping.

There Are Appointments, Medications And Contracts
Nobody walks into a clinic and says, “put some embryos in me.” There are appointments, medications and contracts, and every one of them leaves a trail that somebody can follow. Carter Walton has been treating this like a favor between friends since the moment Steffy agreed to “consider” it, but no calendar, prescription or signed agreement says a transfer ever happened. His fix is that he has contacts, which is a very Carter way to describe fake medical records.
Daphne has already told her own OB she’s ready to go ahead with the surrogacy plan, and she has a doctor’s call on her schedule. Carter even told her to share the good news with that doctor. The people who deal with real transfers are about to ask for the paperwork, and he doesn’t have any.
Finn Is Not Daphne
Finn is a doctor, and he has already given his opinion. When Steffy floated being the surrogate, he said, “You’re kidding, right?” and insisted another woman could do it. Then he left thinking the subject was closed. Carter can tug at Daphne’s heartstrings until she cries into a hug, but Finn will ask the questions a doctor asks: which clinic, which doctor, which dates, which contract.
Steffy knows it. She asked what she is supposed to say when Finn comes home and finds out, which is the only practical question anyone has asked in this entire storyline. Carter Walton can fool Daphne. He is not fooling Finn.

Carter Already Promised A Paper Trail
Back on September 18, Carter offered to take care of everything and create a paper trail. That sentence should have ended the plan on the spot. Nobody conjures a paper trail out of thin air, least of all a man with contacts and a deadline, and a clinic, a pharmacy and a lawyer will each have questions for anyone who claims an embryo moved from one woman to another with no appointments to show for it.
This Is Getting Beyond Ridiculous
Think about everything Carter needs to be true. A doctor has to agree to lie. Appointments have to exist that never happened. Medications have to be prescribed to a woman who is already pregnant. Contracts have to be signed by people who understand exactly what they’re signing. All of it has to hold up in front of Finn, Daphne’s OB and a baby who arrives on the wrong schedule.
Carter Walton has decided that confidence can stand in for a medical file, and it can’t.

Today’s The Day, Apparently
Steffy is right that this can’t be pulled off, and every fan watching knows it. Carter would rather push the lie forward than admit that a fake transfer needs a real paper trail, and the longer he keeps pushing, the more people there are to ask questions.
