CARTER WALTON AND THE FORRESTER LEGAL TEAM FAIL SPECTACULARLY AS LOGAN TRADEMARK CHAOS ERUPTS ON BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

TL;DR: The Logan trademark war is heating up on Bold and the Beautiful, but the real question is: how did Forrester Creations let this happen? Carter Walton is now racing Liam to trademark the name, which means nobody had it locked down in the first place. For a billion dollar fashion house, this is embarrassingly amateur hour.

Someone Please Check If Carter Walton Passed the Bar

Let’s talk about the elephant in the Forrester Creations boardroom, shall we? While everyone is busy clutching their pearls over Katie Logan daring to name her fashion house “Logan,” nobody seems to be asking the obvious question: how in the world did the Forrester legal team let this trademark situation become a free for all in the first place?

Carter Walton is supposedly the COO and legal eagle of this operation. Yet here he is, racing against Liam Spencer to trademark the Logan name like it’s a Black Friday doorbuster sale.

Let that sink in for a moment. A multi million dollar fashion empire that has been intertwined with the Logan family for decades somehow never bothered to secure the trademark on a name that is literally plastered all over their legacy products. The BeLieF formula? Named after Brooke Logan Forrester. The company’s most iconic chemist and recurring face? A Logan. And yet, nobody thought to lock that down legally?

This Is Business 101, People

Here’s the thing about running a successful fashion house on Bold and the Beautiful: you’re supposed to have your legal ducks in a row. Forrester Creations has survived hostile takeovers, family coups, and more scandals than we can count. But apparently, basic intellectual property protection was just too much to ask.

Carter Walton has had one job. Okay, maybe several jobs since he wears approximately forty seven hats at that company. But protecting the brand should have been at the top of the list. Instead, he’s now scrambling to trademark a name that should have been secured years ago.

The fact that Liam is even in this race is hilarious. Liam Spencer, whose primary job qualifications seem to be waffling between women and brooding attractively, is somehow neck and neck with the actual lawyer in a legal matter. That tells you everything you need to know about Carter’s game right now.

Ridge and Brooke Are Pointing Fingers in the Wrong Direction

According to the spoilers, Brooke, Ridge, and Carter are busy trying to undermine Katie’s new venture. But maybe, just maybe, they should be having a very different conversation. Like, “Hey Carter Walton, why are we in this mess to begin with?”

Instead of throwing tantrums about Katie using the Logan name, Brooke should be asking why her husband’s company didn’t protect her brand identity decades ago. Ridge is out here grunting about how “Logan” is what he calls his wife, as if pet names hold up in trademark court.

Spoiler alert: they do not.

Bill Spencer Is Laughing All the Way to the Bank

You know who’s probably thriving right now? Dollar Bill Spencer. The man gave his wife a whole fashion house as a wedding gift, and now he gets to watch Forrester Creations implode over a legal oversight that any first year law student would have caught.

Bill has been waiting for years to stick it to Ridge, and Carter just handed him the perfect opportunity on a silver platter. Katie gets to use the Logan name for her fashion house because Forrester never bothered to claim it. That’s not Katie being sneaky. That’s Forrester being sloppy.

The Real Villain Here Is Negligence

Look, I love a good Logan sister catfight as much as the next Bold and the Beautiful fan. But this whole trademark war shouldn’t even be happening. If Carter Walton had done his due diligence at any point in the last several decades, Brooke would have an actual legal leg to stand on.

Instead, she’s reduced to arguing about feelings and reputation while Katie walks away with the name fair and square. Carter is out here giving “legal advice” when his advice should have been “we should have trademarked this twenty years ago.”

Forrester Creations has a design team, a PR team, and apparently a legal team that was asleep at the wheel. Somewhere, Stephanie Forrester is rolling in her grave.

Sound off in the comments about whether Carter Walton should be fired for this epic fail!
