Look, we adore Carter. We’ve rooted for this man through every romantic disaster — the Zoe heartbreak, the Quinn chaos, the Paris confusion, and that whole messy situation with Hope Logan. When Daphne Rose swept into Los Angeles with her intoxicating perfumes and that effortlessly chic Parisian energy, we cheered. Finally! A woman worthy of our favorite COO! She almost fled back to France, and Carter chased her down with a proposal that made us swoon. This is the love story he deserves.

The Forrester showroom has witnessed many things. Fashion shows. Business meetings. Steffy pacing dramatically while making executive decisions. Ridge sketching masterpieces. Eric taking his final creative bow before retirement. What it has never been — and we cannot stress this enough — is romantic.
Carter Walton is the Chief Operating Officer of a billion-dollar fashion empire. Daphne is an internationally celebrated perfumer who splits her time between Paris and Los Angeles. These two have the connections, the resources, and the impeccable taste to get married literally anywhere. A Malibu cliffside at sunset. A vineyard in Napa. A gorgeous estate with ocean views. This is The Bold and the Beautiful — emphasis on beautiful!
Instead, they’re exchanging vows in Carter’s office building. The same fluorescent-lit runway where he spiraled after Hope dumped him. The mannequins will be their witnesses. The fabric swatches will serve as decor.
We’ve Seen This Movie Before
Let’s not pretend this is new territory for B&B. Liam Spencer and Hope just got married a few months ago — and where did that ceremony happen? Brooke’s living room. Little Beth officiated, which was admittedly adorable, but the location? The same four walls we’ve seen for decades.
Before that, how many Forrester mansion weddings have we sat through? How many terrace ceremonies? Steffy and Finn live at a cliff house with stunning ocean views. Will has a beach house with an actual beach steps away. The locations exist! And yet here we are, watching Carter plan a ceremony next to the accessory wall.
What We’re Really Asking For
We’re not demanding a destination wedding in Monaco (though we wouldn’t complain). We’re simply asking for a change of scenery. A beach. A garden. A rooftop with a view. Anything that doesn’t require Carter Walton to clock in before he says “I do.”
Daphne deserves to walk down an aisle that isn’t also a fashion runway. Carter deserves a backdrop that doesn’t include his inbox and a conference phone. Their guests deserve to sit somewhere other than the same folding chairs used for press previews.
The Bold and the Beautiful used to take us places. Monte Carlo. Australia. Abu Dhabi. International location shoots were once a signature of this show. Now we can’t even get a ceremony outside the office?
We’re rooting for Carter and Daphne with our whole hearts. We just wish someone would root for their wedding venue too.
