DAYTIME COMINGS AND GOINGS BLOW THE DOORS OFF THIS WEEK

TL;DR: The Bold and the Beautiful welcomes back Darin Brooks and Denise Richards as Wyatt Spencer and Shauna Fulton, plus Theodora Greece as Alison Montgomery, Days of Our Lives reunites Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves as Jack and Jennifer Deveraux, and Beyond the Gates drops a shocker when Doug McBride may not be dead after all.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Two Iconic Returns Headline a Massive Week in Los Angeles

The Bold and the Beautiful leads the comeback pack in a major way this week. Darin Brooks returns as Wyatt Spencerafter his last appearance on the canvas in January 2024. He airs in scenes with his TV dad, Don Diamont‘s Bill, and his onscreen half-brother, Scott Clifton‘s Liam. The Spencer family circle finally feels complete again.

Also popping back into the soap this week is Denise Richards as Shauna Fulton, the bestie of Quinn (Rena Sofer) and mother of Flo (Katrina Bowden). Richards originally played Shauna from 2019 to 2022, and Los Angeles has missed her chaos energy ever since.

After an eight-year absence, Theodora Greece is back as Alison Montgomery. The actress made her debut as Bill’s crafty assistant in 2011 and recurred through 2018. She resurfaces on Wednesday, May 27, and Thursday, May 28.

Naomi Matsuda, who has been MIA as Dr. Li Finnegan, is back on set filming scenes as Finn’s mother. Li returning means the Finnegan family dynamic is back in motion, which always means something is brewing in Los Angeles.

Rounding out a busy week in the Forrester orbit: Jade Coatsworth pops in as Kingsley the intern on Monday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 26. Shannon McMullen resurfaces as Forrester model Willow on the same days. Sissy Sheridan is back as Logan employee Jessica also Monday and Tuesday. Beyond the Gates: Doug McBride Might Not Be Dead After All

The biggest storyline shockwave on Beyond the Gates this week is not about who is coming in but who is coming back from the supposedly-dead. Doug McBride might not be deceased after all, and Friday’s episode ended with Jason Graham‘s Doug coming face to face with his daughter Deanna in a stunning moment that flipped the entire McBride family arc upside down.

Meanwhile, Ben Gavin is out as Derek Baldwin. The former firefighter turned free clinic general manager was killed in the warehouse shootout involving the plasma ring, closing out a major chapter on the canvas.

Other guest appearances this week include Donny Carrington, back as Ren Tolliver, the plasma ring enforcer who killed Derek. Ren was arrested after the cops busted the plasma ring. Jordi Vilasuso‘s Grayson Perez and Cecelia Specht‘s Dr. Lia Whitmore were also pulled into the plasma ring fallout.

Javi’s new boyfriend also materializes this week. Michael Ocampo makes his first appearance as Gus on Thursday, May 28. Javi Hernandez is on his way to meet his new flame when he runs into Leo Stark, because of course he does, and the love-triangle setup is officially live.
