Let us be precise about what happened in that apartment. Deke Sharpe told Remy he could not blow this opportunity. He told him everyone at Logan hated Remy and that his association with his ex was a liability he could not afford. He said they were a mistake. He said he needed to concentrate on his career. He said no with full sentences and complete eye contact.

Remy kissed him anyway. Deke tried to say no again. Remy kissed him again. Deke backed away. Remy reminded him how strong their connection was, put his arms around him, and asked for another chance.
