DOLLAR BILL HIRED THE GREATEST DESIGNER IN LOS ANGELES AND IS TREATING HIM LIKE A SWEATSHOP EMPLOYEE — AND ERIC FORRESTER’S HEART IS ABOUT TO PAY THE PRICE

TL;DR: Bill Spencer is pushing Eric Forrester past his breaking point on The Bold and the Beautiful, refusing to delay a launch even when the designs come back butchered. Eric’s doctor is already worried. By Thursday, someone is calling 911. And the man responsible isn’t Ridge.

Bill Spencer Doesn’t Know the Difference Between Two Silks and He’s Barking Orders at a Legend

Let’s get one thing straight about what happened on today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Eric Forrester — the man who built an empire from a single sketch, who dressed royalty, who turned a family name into the most prestigious fashion house on the West Coast — walked into Spencer Publications and watched models parade around in butchered versions of his designs.

The fabrics were wrong. The execution was a disaster. One silk is not the same as the next, Eric explained, because of course it isn’t. This man has spent six decades knowing the difference between dupioni and charmeuse by touch alone. And Bill Spencer’s crack team couldn’t even get the basics right.

Eric Forrester did the only reasonable thing a designer of his caliber would do. He said they needed to delay the launch.

Bill’s response? “That’s not happening.”

Ridge Retired Eric to Save His Life — Bill Hired Eric to Exploit His Broken Heart

Here’s the part that has us absolutely seething. Everyone spent months dragging Ridge Forrester for pushing his father into retirement. And look — Ridge handled it badly. The surprise retirement party was humiliating. The way he took over the CEO office without looking back was cold. We dragged him for it then and we’ll drag him for it now.

But Ridge’s sin was overprotection. He saw his father’s doctor. He heard the health concerns. He made a painful call because he was terrified of losing his dad. Was he wrong? Maybe. Was he cruel? Sometimes. But the motivation was love, even if the execution was sloppy.

Bill Spencer’s motivation is profit. Period. Full stop. End of sentence.

“You Can’t Compromise Quality” — Eric Begged, and Bill Didn’t Care

Bill watched those mangled designs walk across the room and his first instinct wasn’t embarrassment or concern for the man whose name is supposed to elevate his wife’s entire fashion house. It was fury that the timeline might slip. Katie — bless her — actually wanted to hear what Eric had to say. She was the only person in that room treating the patriarch like a human being instead of a production line.

But Bill steamrolled right over both of them. He even had the audacity to float the theory that Eric’s real motivation is “putting sonny boy in his place.” As if a man who has been designing couture since before Bill Spencer learned to spell the word would need a petty vendetta to care about fabric quality.

Katie told him to take it down a notch. He took it up several more. Vintage Dollar Bill behavior, and it’s never been uglier.

Eric’s Doctor Is Already Raising Red Flags

Meanwhile, across town, Ridge learned from his father’s physician that Eric’s stress levels are concerning. Yes, there’s a HIPAA violation conversation to be had there, but the point stands — the medical community is worried about Eric Forrester before the real chaos even begins.

Donna rushed to Spencer the moment she sensed something was off and asked the question every fan was screaming: “Did Bill do something, or is it the job?” And Eric — loyal, proud, stubborn Eric — wouldn’t throw Bill under the bus even though that man just ran over his artistic integrity with a Spencer Publications freight truck.

By the end of the episode, Eric Forrester sat in his own living room and admitted to Donna that he’d be happier back at Forrester with Ridge and the grandkids. The fire that drove him to sign on with Logan? Bill Spencer is stomping it out one impossible deadline at a time.

By Thursday, Someone Calls 911 — and We Know Exactly Who’s to Blame

The spoilers for this week tell a devastating story. Tuesday, Eric has a breathing episode. Donna begs him to go to the hospital. Wednesday, the secret comes out to Ridge and Brooke. Thursday, Eric and Ridge have a confrontation — and Eric Forrester clutches his chest and collapses. Someone screams to call 911.

Everyone is going to blame Ridge. The confrontation will be the obvious trigger. Ridge will probably blame himself, too, because that man carries guilt like an accessory.

But we see the receipts. Bill Spencer has been grinding Eric Forrester down since the day he walked through those doors with his portfolio. He refused to delay a launch when the quality was garbage. He treated a living legend like an assembly line worker. He cared more about speed than craftsmanship, more about money than the man making the magic.

Ridge Forrester may have retired his father. But Bill Spencer is the one who’s going to put him in the hospital. And when that ambulance pulls away, Dollar Bill better have his checkbook ready — because no amount of Spencer money can fix what he’s broken.

Sound off, B&B fans — is Bill Spencer the real villain of this storyline? Share this with every fan who needs to see the receipts before Thursday’s heartbreaking episode!
