Katie has decided that silence is a scheduling problem. Her fix? Draft Melissa Dylan, the girlfriend she can’t stand, as Logan’s secret recruiter, and call it a loyalty test for the “little girl” dating her son. Nothing says “welcome to the family” like a covert headhunting mission.

Zende is certainly ripe for the picking. He’s seething about taking orders from RJ Forrester on their top secret new line, and he told Ridge Forrester to his face that Ridge drove Hope and Katie out the door. Ridge snapped right back that this was never about Hope, it was about Zende. So yes, he’s gettable. But Katie and Hope keep conveniently forgetting one teeny detail. The Forrester who turned Hope for the Future into a phenomenon wasn’t Zende. It was Thomas Forrester.

Stealing Ridge’s Son Is The Ultimate Power Move

On paper, snatching Thomas sounds like a pipe dream. He’s Ridge’s firstborn and Steffy’s big brother, practically Forrester furniture. Ridge already thinks Katie and Hope drove a knife into his company’s back. Picture his face when Logan walks off with his own son.

That’s exactly why it works. Katie doesn’t need a designer, she needs a bomb, and nothing detonates quite like a Forrester defecting to the Logans. One phone call from Hope is all it would take, because the man has never once managed to say no to her. He married her, schemed for her, and spent a genuinely unhinged stretch of B&B history orbiting her. Asking him to come design at her side? He’d be packed before she hung up.

Then comes the fallout, and it’s delicious. Brooke Logan, who still hasn’t blessed her daughter’s defection, would watch the man who once framed her with a fake CPS call waltz into Hope’s design room. RJ, who finally got a line of his own, would be staring down his big brother from across the runway. Zende, still sitting on all those unanswered texts, would watch Thomas stroll off with the chair he could have had. Thomas Forrester in a Logan lanyard wouldn’t shake up one design house. He’d rattle both of them to the studs.
