HOPE LOGAN’S SMIRKING POWER PLAY THROUGH BROOKE BLOWS UP IN HER FACE

TL;DR: On the May 13 episode of The Bold and the BeautifulHope Logan smirked that Brooke is the real queen of Forrester while Steffy begged Ridge to choose her over his wife. Fans are roasting Hope in real time.

Hope’s Smug Smirk Sparks Fan Fury

What if Hope Logan just made her biggest miscalculation yet on The Bold and the Beautiful? On Wednesday’s May 13 episode, Brooke Logan‘s daughter stood in her mother’s living room and smirked that Brooke was the real queen of Forrester. Across town, Steffy Forrester was sobbing in Ridge Forrester‘s office and begging him to choose his daughter over his wife. The split screen of it all has fans roasting Hope in real time on social media. Has Hope finally crossed the line? Her husband Liam Spencer thinks his wife is owed a seat at the table. The internet is begging to differ. The CBS preview clip of the showdown told the whole story before the episode even aired.

How Hope Weaponized Brooke Against Steffy

For weeks, Hope has been pushing Brooke to demand the co-CEO seat that currently belongs to Steffy. The Hope For The Future line was shelved by Steffy to make room for Eric Forrester‘s couture relaunch, and Hope has not let it go. Hope convinced Brooke that she belonged at the top of Forrester Creations next to Ridge, invoking the old Eric and Stephanie Forrester partnership as proof that the Logan side had earned the chair. Brooke resisted at first. By Friday of last week, she had agreed. By Monday, she was seducing Ridge to advance the play. By Wednesday, Hope was smirking about her mother taking Steffy‘s job. This coup has Hope‘s fingerprints all over it.

Steffy’s Gut Punch Plea To Ridge

Steffy is fighting for the role she has poured years into building. In Wednesday’s closing scene, she stood across from Ridge and demanded he respect what she has built. Give her any other title, but not mine, she told her father. Don’t you dare pretend that you are recreating the magic of what they were, she warned him. Then came the line that broke the internet. Choose your daughter over your wife. For once. Please do this. Don’t let me down again. The whole speech was devastating, and Ridge just stood there. Hope Logan got everything she wanted from that moment, even if Steffy got the screentime. Fans on Soaps.com message boards are already calling Brooke a coward for using the bedroom to do what she cannot say out loud.

Are Fans Done With Hope?

Fans are not playing this week. One Soaps.com commenter wrote that Brooke should be sent to the mailroom too, and that Hope should be told to report for work immediately. Another said Hope is gaslighting her own mother into a coup she would not have started without Hope in her ear. A third pointed out that Brooke does not have the courage to do this on her own, which is why she had to be pushed. Even the pro Brooke camp is divided. Some say she earned the co-CEO seat decades ago. Others say Hope Logan is the one who set the family on fire, not Brooke. Don’t be surprised if Steffy loses this round and then comes back swinging twice as hard.

What’s Next For Hope, Brooke, and Steffy?

Could this mean Ridge is about to be put through the worst week of his marriage? Don’t be surprised if he tries to find a middle ground and ends up infuriating both his wife and his daughter at the same time. Steffy has too much invested to walk away quietly, and Brooke has too much pride to let go of the seat now that Hope has set the trap. If history is any guide, the loser of this round will be the one who blinks first. Liam is already privately telling Bill Spencer and Katie Logan that his wife is staying put at Forrester, which suggests Hope is betting everything on her mother winning. If Brooke loses, Hope has nowhere left to land but Logan, the very house she has refused to defect to. The fall would be loud.
